Songs where you can't understand the artist
Those songs where you can't understand a word they're saying for some reason. I vote Christina Aguilera in some of her songs

Yeah I agree about Leona, she has such good range, but her diction is actually appauling especially on the last album. It's either 'Broken' or 'Can't Breathe' I cant remember which one, but at the end I literally can't make out a word and it ruins an amazing song.

Diana Vickers....I just cannot understand what on Earth she's singing about in My Wicked Heart...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnOsAI_XuLs That video pretty much sums up what I get from the song when I hear it...

The Saturdays in their new song All Fired Up. Other than the chorus, wtf are they singing? Not that I care, they're ****ing shit.

I am a big Leona fan. but agree her diction is sometimes poor. Her voice and songs are good enough to make up for it though

I agree, Family Guy say it best - you can only understand the end of his sentences!

Can't hold us down was the worst when it comes to this - there were parts of the first verse which just sounded ridiculous!

Shaggy, especially on the song It Wasn't Me. On all the parts where he raps I can only understand about one word per sentence.

I absolutely love Hanson (seriously, they're excellent) but I can barely make out a word Taylor Hanson sings.
See if you can work out what he's saying! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYYw8...76355A2C0BE05E |

The Cocteau Twins.
But that was kind of the point. Liz Fraser's vocals and lyrics were deliberately obscure to the point where words were entirely made-up or used out of context. |

Early Kings Of Leon can get a bit tricky. He uses the c word in one song on A-Ha Shake Heartbreak and you would barely notice.

Some of the lyrics to this song I find a little hard to understand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLhYxLE8uCA (the group is from Germany so that might be why).
