Do you like bony food?
I hate anything with bones, I try to avoid them.
I won't even have KFC except for boneless nuggets. Fish are the worst... Even the fillets can have tiny sharp bones that are really hard to spot ![]() My dad choked on a fishbone yesterday he was in a lot of discomfort

I'm not a big fan. Recently went to a very authentic chinese in Chinatown and the meat still had the bones in, even the crispy duck. Put me right off.

Depends what it is. Chicken on the bone irritates me but I rather enjoy filleting a fish on the plate.

I much prefer the taste/texture of food cooked on the bone. Left over chicken on the carcass makes the best meat for curries and pies.

You are losing half the flavour getting boneless food. The only food where I tend to avoid bones is fish unless they are small enough to eat the bones.

Depends. If it's cooked on the bone then the bone removed you still get the same taste.

I quite like big bone cuts, chicken wings, thighs, drumsticks etc as they are full of flavour, also love ribs, chops and t-bone etc but fish is another matter. I hate fish bones and can't understand why mackerel, sardines and salmon often have the bones left in, the texture and crunch is horrible
, boneless fish for me every time

I like meat on the bone, such as chicken legs or lambs leg.
Not too keen on fish on the bone, although I do like the little bits of spine in salmon. |

I much prefer to buy my fish whole. Sometimes I cook it whole, sometimes I fillet it. Filleting fish is pretty easy once you've been shown and you use the right knife, although I will admit trout is a bit of a bugger because it's so damn slippery! Chicken, beef, pork and lamb, I like to cook with the bones on the meat for flavour.

Bones all the way for me.
To be honest, I find it a bit sickening those who can't deal with bones but are happy to eat meat. If you are willing to eat meat you should accept that your food comes from an animal and an animal has bones. I think if you're going to kill an animal for food then ALL edible parts of that animal should be utilised. |
