Now that the Harry Potter films have finished, they have shown themselves to have remarkable casting, so much so that it is difficult to imagine anyone else playing the roles. That, however, is exactly what I want you to do. Only three rules. One: anyone you suggest to play a Hogwarts student must be no older than 22 now. All performers (with the obvious exceptions of Fleur, Krum, Karkaroff and Madame Maxime) must be British, Irish or capable of speaking with a convincing British accent. Three: any actor who has already appeared in a Potter film is ineligible.
Here are a few for starters.
Dumbledore: Sean Connery
Prof. Mcgonnagal: Vanessa Redgrave
Sirius Black: Johnny Depp
Snape: Jeremy Irons
Horace Slughorn: Bob Hoskins
Gilderoy Lockhart: Colin Firth
Bellatrix Lestrange: Alex Kingston
