Sadly I've seen lots of tweets saying get Alex off, hope the Alex brigade don't get involved as it's been said already.

If this is true then I am sorry but this could end up destroying Josie's professional reputation. I don't know exactly what has been said or how it has been worded or what it is Josie thinks that she has agreed to but trying to get ahead by these means could ruin her career.

If there is anyone here who has any clout with the "inner circle" can I suggest that they try and have a friendly word in their ears. I would not want to see Josie's reputation destroyed by this kind of action.

I really do not think that Josie would agree to this and if she has it will not help her at all.

This is where Den goes too far and gets involved in things that does not concern her.

We are not "muckers" Denise, nor sheep. It is apparent from some of the tweets I have seen today that people are dissing Alex and James, why? I want Josie to succeed in her own right and on her own merit, not by devaluing others. I don't know exactly what was said on Muckers so can't judge that. If someone would like to quote it we can assess it.

Totally off topic, as is my wont, I mentioned yesterday I've been reading this book about the start of the struggle for women to be able to go to university in and after the latter half of the 19th century. Re: the subject of riots: The male students at Oxford held a demonstration outside one of the women's colleges when the Council were considering awarding women degrees. Until then they'd done the time for no recognition. The demonstration turned into riots and involved effigies of women in scanty underclothes being burned, people climbing up lampposts, yelling and screaming obscenities (relevant to the time) at women undergraduates. Nobody got put in prison of course. The vote was lost at the time by a very large margin. When I was at uni, Oxbridge male students were renowned for their bad behaviour after one of their drunken nights out but of course they never got arrested or even cautioned. I don't know if the same things happen today but I wonder whether, if they do, they get hauled up before the magistrates and given a short jail sentence.

Cant bring tweets over but Den has just tweeted that for us on here and muckers to stop twisting her words.

If it wasn't said then i appologise to Den, but still think she should take a backward step in some way.

Ive been lurking on other threads this afternoon and its claimed that everything (no matter what )

is all part of Josies plot to discredit or intimidate John.

I admit i have dissed the journo on BBBOT and to a lesser extent Alex but not to promote Josie particulary (although like to see more of her),but that is my own personal opinion of the show itself.

That Den one is a few sandwiches short of a picnic. I am actually embarrassed for her. She constantly seems to make a total fool out of herself and try to bring Josie into it.

I don't see it as a problem to have that opinion and express it, if that is your genuine opinion. The problem is that it has been implied that Josie has agreed to people dissing her colleagues but as I haven't seen the quote so can't judge it for myself. I just sincerely hope that this has been misrepresented as I would be bitterly disappointed in Josie if that is true.

You people who are calling Den, why dont you pm her or ask Den on twitter instead of calling her on the thread.

You are all interpreting what Den said wrong.

I agree, I can't really imagine that Josie's sitting at home rubbing her hands together plotting the downfall of the British Empire ... or even the twitter empire lol. I think she's got better things to do with her time.

If what Den has said was mis-reported then apologies, but when I logged on to twitter it was to tweet after tweet slating Alex and the other bloke and asking Five/BB whoever it was to put Josie in their place. Something started that off, or else there'd just be the occasional one here and there.

I never really liked BBBM anyway, especially when Russell Brand did it and even with Davina trying to be hip and cool, but this is even worse. It is disgusting all those tweets now going round on twitter about get those two off. It's not right. I am very sad about it all. Whoever started it (obviously you know who I think is to blame) should be ashamed of themselves, but clear this person does not actually have any shame.

On a plus...it's great that Josie seems to be doing so well on the program.
