Well, then, that's sad, especially as it is a long time now since they were together. Perhaps fans of couples need a handbook that explains to them how to move on when their couple splits and how it is perfectly possible to support one or other separately .

Just to respond to your post. I'm sorry, I don't understand your point about setting up another thread. This thread on the whole has very few difficulties in supporting both John and Josie now they are no longer together. All the bitterness and hatred seems to happen elsewhere - on twitter mostly. That's why I don't understand why some people out there seem so concerned about this thread. It is just going along in its own little way. It doesn't set out to offend. Occasionally things are said that are taken the wrong way - generally by non-regulars. The regular posters here understand and tolerate the different viewpoints without getting too excited about it. Any tiffs are quickly resolved and normality resumes. And looking at other threads, this is very much how they run along too. It is only out on twitter that battles start and activate the old hatreds.

I don't know about my fellow threadmates but as far as I'm concerned, I'm not going anywhere. I think we are nicely 'evolving' as it is. We are a lovely little community of friends and that has been proved again and again - just in the last couple of weeks: I was touched by concern shown because I wasn't posting; Wendy has had an awful lot of advice and support; and Gussie suddenly realised yesterday how many friends she had on the thread. So there you go. Who would want to leave such a place? Definitely not me.

So when there's talk about her work on BBBOTS and how well or bad she is doing ----- it is always in connection to John.

When there's talk about how much weight she has lost, if any and were those pictures from the beach taken in June or in April or in February ----------- it is always in connection to John

When there's is talk about how her fans will start a petition to get her to appear more in BBBOTS ------- it's always in connection to John

LOL - dont have a clue what boohaggy is - hope it's not too bad. In the main I would say yes most of the conversations are relevant to John James - or how her actions or actions of her close f & F have indirectly or directly affected John James. Obviously you would be right to say not all the time - but the main body of posters on there are there to appreciate JOhn - we cannot legislate for other people dropping in - again we should always remember to use the word SOME - it would safe us all many problems

Woke up with a stonking cold.

Thought I would come on thread for a nice relaxing catch up.

In light of recent events

I actually think it is more important than ever to keep our name. We should hold our heads up high as appreciators of both, despite the criticism of others. We do not get involved in the playground behaviour of other uber fans. We defend our corner when we need to in a dignified manner and continue to support both John and Josie, however far apart they are from each other. Just my opinion. xxx

No it happened quite some months ago - Ali would know when it all started I think - it's over and done with now but it was a very upsetting time. There are some lovely people on the JJJAT now and in recent weeks I have started reading it again for exactly that reason.

Was Josie right to tweet what she did? Probably not. But these people work hard to promote and support Josie. Shezha did a better job of promoting Josie's AND JOHN's projects than Sean did - and he was their manager. So Josie probably feels a lot of loyalty and protection towards her fans.

These people who constantly critisice Josie's fans - are you honestly suggesting that if John suddenly turned up at the BB studio that you wouldn't rush own to support him? Of course you would.

I would also challenge any of these people not to comment on the breakdown of their own very public relationship. Cos I imagine it would be almost impossible to remain tight lipped and dignified. NEVER JUDGE A PERSON UNTIL YOU HAVE WALKED A MILE IN THEIR SHOES.”

okay, im back.....

had took a week off from posting since majellas bad news,then the funeral,and then my mum had to go to casualty 2 days in a row....they thought she had a blood clot in her leg,but thankfully it dispersed and shes almost back to normal.
i have been lurking when i could...

could anyone send me a pm about the whole weeks roundup of events

Think it may be time for me to go back to just lurking. I have been on this thread for a few months now and have clocked up over 500 posts. This is the first time I have said something that has been misconstrued.

I'm so so sorry if I have offended posters what I was referring to was was the loys that started the controversy last night not loys in general.

I realise it was a blanket statement and I'm sorry if you have felt insulted by me. If you took my words on face value you would see that by making that comment I would also be insulting myself as a John supporter.

It wasn't meant how it came across. Sorry.

I thought I knew and would have said around the time fan tut (was that her name) and others were run off, but have since found out that it's been going on for years, mostly the same people, but obviously this more recent batch is a surprise to us all.

I would go with the name and shame as you've said.

It is odd isnt it...I dont think ive heard of it happening in the press before, but there is something almost tribal and gang warfare about it......a bit like west side story or romeo and Juliet...where the taking of sides and supporting your chosen group becomes extremely important.

if I have upset anyone in the past I do apologise, because that hasnt been my intent....

When people come in and read through from where they left of, unfortunately they will read and reply to a post, then see another post after, so don't worry they will see it but there will probably be some responses. Your apologies are there though

Of course you should keep posting....its nice to see what everyone has to say.

what gets so so difficult is to trace the timeline of everything....

..I dont like Josies post about the loys,

but then

I dont like or agree with the twitlonger that appears to have been copied across from the loys pages,

but then

nor do I like or agree with the twitter wars, and the abuse directed on there to individual John supporters, that seem to have polarised that group of Johns supporters, and made them feel so negative and defensive.

somehow we do need to stop this and be more civilised and considerate towards each other
