Hi

Is anyone else having issues with BBC iPlayer, 5 on demand, youtube etc on a Sony TV? My TV just times out. The tv is connected to my network/internet etc as the Check Connection in the Network setup is ok and I can ping the tv ok on the local network.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Probably your Internet link is too slow?.

Presumably you can play content stored on your computer OK?.

Speed looks to be ok. I'll try again in a bit.

I can play content from my NAS ok (well, what little formats the tv actually supports via network )

Thanks.

You say that you can ping the tv from your pc, but can the TV ping your router? My Sony BD player wouldn't connect reliably to the internet until I unchecked the setting in the router to block pings. Apparently the Sony software often fails to connect to the internet (even though it is correctly connected to your network) unless it can ping the router.

Purchashed a new Bravia KDL-32KDL523 last week and get no Video on BBC Iplayer , radio works fine as does Love Film and Demand5.
Tried "Refresh internet content" and "Reset to Factory Defaults". Any other suggestions to get Iplayer going?
