recording, missing the end of a program

I have never had a problem with the BBC channels but ITV and channel 4 are a real pain. We done a series record of Beaver falls and last night sat down to watch all 4 in a block. Every one of them had the last 2 or 3 minutes cut off. really frustrating. they didn't start early and the record time was 59 minutes.

Is there any way of extending a recording time to overlap not something i really want to do as it will clash with other recordings.

Itv2 is just a joke sometimes with 10 minutes of the previous program and the same amount chopped off the end.

please help!

I've not really had problem with ITV. Sometimes it doesn't record program, but it never misses off the end. Channel 4 seems to miss off the end in some programs. Best way to prevent it is to go into schedule and press yellow and edit the times manually.

I had terrible problems with the ends of programs being cut off. In the end I did a factory reset and that cured it
