Just a bit of advice needed. I've never really been into mobile phones other than having a phone on me in case of emergency & actually using it for a phone - always been on PAYG - currently with tesco mobile - which I'm very happy with.

Iam now getting into using skype & would like to have a phone for using the internet & lots of apps - would like a nice largish touch screen device - don't really need it to play music at all - but would like to use it for sky tv . Am looking at a monthly contract around £15 - £20 with a free handset - any ideas??

I do really like the IP4 & Samsung S2 - but realistically I don't wanna pay £35+.

I am on Dolphin 15 (£15 pm) on Orange with a Desire S. Free minutes is only 100 but i get unlimited texts and 500 meg. Thing is though, I threatened to leave them if they refused to upgrade my old Nokia 6303 with a decent smartphone so it is possible the deal i am on was designed to stop me from leaving and a new customer may not get the same deal. they also chucked in an extra 100 mins and 250 meg for being loyal.

If you want to use Skype on it, including video calls, that will only work with newer Android phones with a front-facing camera.

For that, I'm afraid you must pay! Otherwise, got to Carphone Warehouse and play with a few. Avoid Nokia/Symbian, but have a look at any Android, WP7 or BlackBerry handsets.
