Samsung Galaxy Apollo Visible Password
I have an e-mail account that i have on my Samsung Galaxy apollo that i'd like to set up in outlook on my laptop but the visible password function is not showing the letters in the e-mail account settings when switched on and i can't remember the password for that account off the top of my head.
How can i see this password? |

The visible password function doesn't show your password. It just shows the letter you type for a second or so before reverting to a star....If it's switched off you just get the stars as you type.
Perhaps you can go to the email website and get your password sorted via that? |

There is a feature on Android whereby you tick a box labelled show password and it does display characters other than asterisks. I do however think it is only when you setup the account on the phone initially and cannot be enabled to see what a password is after it has been entered. I second the advice given above, go to the webmail homepage and change the password there.

I have the visible password feature checked but it's not doing anything for the password.
As for changing it, i will have to speak to someone in I.T over the weekend as it's my volunteer/work email that i want to set up on my laptop at home and i can't remember what that password is! |

Would copying the starred characters and pasting them in another log in box do the trick with visible passwords on?

I doubt it, but it costs nothing to try it.
