Since August, it's been Hearst magazines UK, a subsidiary of Hearst Corporation, which was founded by the greatest media baron of them all, William Randolph heart. Just thought people might like to know that! :)

    The Chain Of Evil?

I'd say despite the fact he is a scumball, Rupert Murdoch is the greatest media baron ever.

It's a but like the argument about who was the greatest physicist. Newton effectively created the profession but Einstein discovered more about the true nature of reality.

    By Stefanie Botelho

Upon the completion of this acquisition, Hearst has the U.K. publishing rights of ELLE, ELLE DECORATION and Psychologies; the company can now claim ownership of Red, All About Soap, Inside Soap, Digital Spy and Sugarscape. Hearst Magazines U.K.’s portfolio includes 26 magazines and 22 digital assets, which reach a print audience of 16 million adults and 20 million monthly online unique users, according to a press statement.

Quite a recent deal, then, it seems. (The previous owners of DS were Hachette Filipacchi.)

Yep, the French have gone but now the Americans have taken over! :D Wonder if they might give us one combo login for all their sites. Are the kids at SugarScape, a bunch of looters?

Edit: Ah, so you're telling us who owns it? Ah, right. Okay.

    Actually, Tesco owns Digital Spy.
Tesco actually control nearly every major corporation in the world and most world leaders are actually placed there by Tesco.
Tesco themselves are owned by reptilian aliens and they are our overlord masters.

    It's a cover story

Hide in plain sight and all that.

I can exclusively reveal that DS is owned by............

Giant Lizard space aliens, some of whom look like models but many look like Robert Englund. They aim to eat us all and have selected DS forum users as the tastiest morsels of humanity.
Their criteria is based on post history

1-1000 posts: Ground up to make Intergalactic beef burgers
1001 - 5000 posts: Filleted to make space Kievs
5001 - 9000 posts: Fried lightly on both sides and garnished with Altarian lettuce
9001 + posts: Eaten alive with a nice glass of Vulcan blood wine.

    sorry Sigurd :o

Well I, for one, welcome our new gourmet reptilian overlords.......

I thought about this just 2 days ago - I like digital spy, ad free, good forums, free to use, no pop ups. It is clean and easy to use also and runs pretty smoothly.

I myself was wondering who owned them and if the content of posts (or complete threads) are removed at the request of their advertisers or business partners making the information a little biased?

sorry you cant call it ad free because it does have adverts - just now there is a advert for Dyson and another advert for Fiat on this very page.

sure it had less adverts than many other sites but its not ad free.
