A new Strictly game for Digital Spy!

This game was originally intended to be part of Team Postremo's task 3 for the now-defunct Strictly Apprentice game. After the cancellation, the former Lady Sugar, dondfan998, PMed both myself and Camis asking whether we wanted to try bringing this to life. As you can see, we decided to go for it

This game is Strictly meets Come Dine With Me. It's quite simple. 10 couples will go head to head over 2 weeks to determine the champion. 5 couples in the first Mon-Fri, and the other 5 in the second Mon-Fri, with the grand final on the Sat-Sun of the second week.

Each day, a dance will be revealed the night before a performance. Each couple will have to give both a song choice and an outfit choice, which will be posted in this thread. The contestants (and also viewers) will then score each couple out of a possible 20 - 10 for a song choice, and 10 for an outfit choice. Each contestant's overall score for a night will be averaged to give a score out of 20. The 5 couples will compete over all 5 nights until the winner is announced on Friday evening. For the grand final, the 2 weekly winners will have to provide a song and outfit choice for a showdance.

Here are the rules:
1. All the couples must be pro/celeb.
2. The celeb may or may not have done Strictly before, but you cannot choose any celeb who has got to the final 3 on any series of Strictly Come Dancing.
3. The couples must be PM'ed to Camis, who will then approve them.

Before the cancellation of the Apprentice game, we were going to do a test run of this game, and asked some forum members whether they would be willing to take part. Footygirl (Suzy) signed up - so Suzy, if you would still like to compete then let us know.

Any forum member who wishes to compete can either post on this thread, or PM both myself and Camis.

We are looking for 10 contestants.

Yes you can and thank you for joining. What you need to do now is PM Camis with your chosen pro/celeb coupling, keeping in mind the restrictions on the couplings as stated in the first post.

Yeah, there were so many more tasks I think you, Stig and TheAuburnEnigma could have worked on - such as creating a Strictly tour, a new Strictly console/board game, a new twist, a new judge and host line-up, and a devised Strictly final.
