So is this worth watching, anyone know?
I described it as "quirky". When I started watching it for the first time, it struck me as a "spoof", being much lighter in tone (and cinematography!) than Wallander or Spiral. It wasn't until it finished that I realised how much I'd enjoyed it and was looking forward to seeing more. Sadly there's only ever been the two episodes shown. The one tonight and one that was repeated fairly recently already.

I'd love to see some more!

I thought that Montalbano was very poor: full of clichés and dodgy plots.

I love Italy and speak a bit of Italian so I was very disappointed when they came up with this after Spiral 1.

Evening Verence. Can't speak any Italian. But sul seems like the French sur. So guessed the rest.

Is it policeman or men. Don't know singular & plural forms in Italian either.

Teetotal tonight. Alcohol is bad for you and should be avoided at all costs, don't you know

There's a touch of the Ross Kemps about Montalbano... "I could see it was about to kick off so I legged it!!"
