Just posted on the Those of us who are an unhappy with the show on C5 Thread about the Bobby protest vote. Might help if more Bobby fans added their thoughts?
There's a lot of unhappy BB fans who hate what C5 have done to the show, and especially after the big 'reveal' of what the ordinary BB is going to be like, they may well be very inclined to pick up their phones and throw some protest votes Bobby's way

How laid back was he? Loved his interview - although why Brian asked him about genuine remorse when he'd been, there & done that already and very authentically
Need to watch his best bits again - his responses alone deserve a really good re-viewing. He was so out of their league - and it says so much that we saw more of him and also saw the bright, articulate, intelligent & resourceful person we knew we'd be seeing on LF, etc. ....and more of his hawtness, obvs ![]() SO glad Paddy won - that must be really naffing C5 off

What a shame Darryn didn't come out before Bobby, however, his reception from rent-a-mob was way better than Darryn's. Great interview, there was the smart, thoughtful, articulate man with morals that we were denied seeing. I wish everyone would get over sweatgate, Darryn dripped far more poison all over HMs than Bobby's few drops of sweat. I applaud him for being the only HM to have the balls to stand up and call people for their meaness - even to Paddy, which took some huge balls!!
I didn't see BBBOTS so missed him being treated badly. Emma has gone down in my estimation now, she is clearly going to follow the C5 line right down the middle. How dissapointing. They sent Bobby in to be the fall guy, the empty headed, vain model that they could ridicule, but he surprised them. I can say now that I know the family and he really is a decent man. |

I actually wonder why Bobby went into BB.
He was obviously more intelligent and more courteous than any of the OK crowd. I think C5 made a big mistake in being so biased. I thought he was articulate and very sweet about Jedward, who surprised me by being quite astute about some of the housemates. I wish Bobby well and hope that he continues to have great success in all he does. |

I think Bobby probably put everyone else to shame by being articulate and not interested in the magazine deals or faux romances. Good for him. |

Have to say I agree with you. Won't be watching anymore.

I am missing Bobby! None of these housemates are a patch on him obviously!
He was just the whole package - intelligent, good looking and funny. None of the new housemates tick all the criteria Bobby ticked.Just checked his twitter again and he has tweeted! So far this is all he's said @BobbySabelFans Thank you so much for all your amazing support. It feels so good to be free again! X I don't mind most of the new bunch but Tom, Heaven and Mark annoy me already

Hi, could you post me a link by any chance?
I'm not on Twitter so need help Thanks He's started following @digitalspyforums so he might be lurking! Hope he reads the good stuff about him here - some of it's not even based on his gorgeousness - that wouldn't be so gorgeous were it not for his even more gorgeous heart. I'm not massively into quotes but am reminded of: “People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.” ~ Elisabeth Kubler-Ross It's certainly Bobby's interior loveliness that makes the exterior all the more appealing

Ooops, should have said, if you're not keen to sign up to twitter (but please do, as it can be a LOT of fun & also extremely useful) it can be easier to read someone's tweets on a site like twitiq.
Bobby's would be www.twitiq.com/bobbysabel It just makes it easier to read bot sides of any convos, but it's a much better experience to be fully signed up to twitter. Don't be intimidated, and just ease yourself in - it can feel mega confusing to start with but you'll soon get that hang of it

Thanks very much - I have stayed with twitiq for the moment, but take your comments about Twitter on board. I guess there has just been so much rubbish talked on there that it puts me off getting involved. Plus, are there enough hours in the day?
Still, if Bobby tweets, I may need to sign up...........one of the best housemates ever (and least appreciated at the time) ![]() ![]() ) It can be fascinating to watch news stories unfolding also - the recent riots being a case in hand - in which info & pics from tweets were being used by mainstream media. Bobby is showing all the signs of a great person to follow - he's so articulate and engaging anyway, but it's coming across in his tweets too. That's not always the case, weirdly - but I think that's down to him just being who he is with no pretences. It's the same reason why Ben is a great tweeter @AbsoluteBen and I absolutely adore Tom Cox too @cox_tom who is rather partial to a twitter natter. BIB: so true. There are many people here who saw the real Bobby despite the overt censoring & I hope others will have their eyes opened to the truly lovely guy he is. He's actually impossibly perfect - so much so, that if it wasn't for sweatgate we'd have thought he was cloned ![]() ....and now we know he's not - well, maybe they should clone him so we can all have one ![]() ![]()

Re Twitter - I only joined it for BB purposes, before the last BB. Was thinking of ditching it afterwards but then we had that freaky snow so early on & it became invaluable for checking out in an instant what was happening where & what roads were open and shut, etc - and same again with TT racing (not so much racing times but all the accidents that happen elsewhere

Jedward fan here. Just wanted to pop in to say how much I loved Bobby in CBB.
I've just been reading his interview with DS and really liked how articulate and honest he was. I had suspected C5 wanted fauxmance from him, and I admire him for having the self-respect not to tow the producers' line. The show would have been much more watchable if they hadn't tried to edit him out so much towards the end. For what it's worth, a lot of Jedward fans sent votes Bobby's way, particularly when he was up for the two evictions before the final. We were delighted he stayed in til the end. We noticed the twins were hanging out with him a lot and we know they only let very trustworthy people get that close to them. I believe they were entirely sincere in giving him the 'best HM' award in their mock ceremony on final night. Anyway, sorry to butt in, just wanted to say I think Bobby's fab and hope to see much more of him in the future - have I mentioned he's utterly gorgeous too?!
