Foxsat HDR - channel groups for 1 LNB recording.

I recently bought a Humax Foxsat HDR unit and so far I'm very pleased with it, however it is only really possible for me to have one LNB connection as I live in an apartment block.

I've connected an F connector loop through to the two LNB connections on the back of the unit but would like to know which channels are included in each group so I can record an alternate channel to the one that I'm watching.

Many thanks for your help.

Welcome to DS Daibus.

Found this on a grahamlthomson link from another DS thread.

Download the Excel file and see if this helps.

If GT is about I am sure he will be here to help soon.

It may be worthwhile approaching the block's management company to see if an additional (second) feed can be supplied to your dwelling. There will be cost implications, of course, but this requirement must be fairly commonplace in this modern age.

If the channel is not in the group that a recording is set for mind normally refuses to set the additional recording and offers alternatives

Many thanks for your replies.

I have just installed Excel viewer to try and access the links that SkipTracer sent me regarding downloading the Excel file as suggested by GrahamlThompson. My stupidity I know, but would it be possible to be more specific regarding downloading this file and to which actual link to click on.

Cheers.
