Moving BT Vision into another room complicated by having Infinity
Hi,
My BT Vision box is currently in the living room and I want to move it to the bedroom. It is connected to the wireless router which in turn is connected to the BT Infinity white modem which is connected to the "special" phone socket they installed with the Infinity i.e a non-standard white box with two sockets on it. Therefore, I'm guessing I need to get all the Infinity kit moved through to the bedroom too as it will need a new "special" socket there too, unless anybody can think of a way around it? ACP |

Why not use the Powerline adaptors that came with your Vision box? Connect from the router to one powerline adaptor in your living room and from the other powerline adaptor in the bedroom to the Vision box.
You didn't throw them out, did you? ![]() Should do the trick though...

My Powerline adaptors arrived earlier in the week and I set them up today.
They work perfectly and do a brilliant job. Thanks for the recommendation |
