Sat Nav Recommendations?
clsyorkshire
21-08-2011
Hi all,

My three year old Tom Tom sat nav is on the way out now, and I'll be looking to replace it soon.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking at either another Tom Tom or possibly a Garmin sat nav.

I don't need anything too fancy. Just a UK and Ireland sat nav - one that actually stays on the screen and doesn't fall off! Also I need one that I can enter locations by GPS co-ordinates as well as post codes. This is because if I'm travelling to a rural location, the co-ordinates are far more accurate than post codes.

I'd be looking to hopefully spend under £100.

Any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated.

I was also going to ask if you have GSP on your phone.

Unfortunately my phone is quite old and does not have GPS capabilities.

Tom Tom is one of the best for sat navs and good at updating via online. So if you get the money get another Tom Tom.
Im still using the Tom Tom One XL v3 had it for almost 4 years now.
Only way I would relpace mine is if it starts to play up and I would replace it with another Tom Tom.
I dont use it every day but is handly for going out of town. My sister has used it a few for driving to places shes not sure of and says shes been 98% happy with it.
