If to be believed, the first sounds like a joke, the second would be good to see...

Ex-Coronation Street actor Kevin Kennedy, who played hapless Curly Watts for 20 years in Corrie has signed with the BBC, to appear under a short term contract in EastEnders. His character Stan Maloney will be an old friend of Keith Miller, who joins the square next week. "Stan turns up out of the blue, he wants to know answers about who the real father of 13 year old Demi Millers child is, it seems all is not right with Stan and the Millers, it turns out that Stan may be the father, hence the short term contract which enables us to write the character out for legal reasons" a BBC insider today said. The BBC press office refused to confirm the story, but Kennedy has been sighted in and around the Hertfordshire area where EastEnders is filmed. The scenes are to be broadcast in November.

AND...

Corrie actress Lucy-** Hudson who plays Katy Harris, let slip in a radio interview, that her character will become pregnant in the coming months, resulting in tragedy, Lucy-** said "It's quite the opposite to what happened to Sarah Louise and baby Bobby", hinting that her character (whose on-screen family have been axed) may die, the storyline will begin in January.

Lol I love that Metro paper...

Although sorry that Kevin Kennedy thing, if true, is truly awful.

I heard Katie infact dies in child birth - but the baby survives - by the time she becomes pregnant and has the child her parents will be either dead or back in witness protection -but it sounds like a true spoiler.

Oh wow sounds the Katy storyline sounds quite harrowing, the opposite to Sarah Lou would mean her dying and the baby surviving. But are Corrie Producers going to wipe out an entire family in just a few months? The parents, daughter, an god knows what will happen to Craig Harris. Its all very Family Affairs lol

I've heard both of these rumours before. The Curly Watts thing was doing the rounds about a year ago!

I heard the Katy one more recently. I hope that one's true, as I really don't like her character.

Do you reckon dying in childbirth is anything to do with her refusal to take her boots off?

I don't like the sound of either of the plots.. The first is too heavy, and the second is, likewise, majorly depressing.

No its no the boots..............only. I think it is a horrific combination of the boots, the horrid denim skirt and worst of all the hair.
Did hear ages ago that she died in childbirth, some complications because of her diabeties or something. I thought her parents entered into a custody battle with Martin as to who the child would live with and when Martin won then they decided to leave Weatherfield and return to Sheffield. Too many memories and all that.

The hair apparently is the proud creation of Adee from The Salon. Up until I found that out I'd always quite fancied him doing my hair now ...

I can't believe she paid for someone to do that to her. If I went to the hairdressers and saw that they did that to me, firstly I'd then I'd be so I'd take the scissors that did that to me and put it some where that would make the creator / monstor that did that forever.

I don't know why people who dislike Katy are looking forward to this storyline.

Fair enough she dies, but she will be involved in a major storyline, can you really put up her screeching "Uhhhhhhhhh Martin!"..."I HATE you" ?

Katy does not have the support for a storyline of this nature, so I think that in the end this could be one big embarassment for Corrie.

It's not dislike lol, I'm just being realistic.

Katy is not a popular character on the whole, so I don't understand why people are so happy for this storyline to be going ahead. It'll be quite a drawn out, like most things are on Corrie, so I'm just confused as to why people are so happy about this. I know she apparently dies in the end, but in reality this is only going to mean that she's on our screens more often, which, for those who don't like her would be seriously annoying.

Katy does not have the viewer support of other characters her age, so I feel that this storyline will have a big "so what?" reaction from the viewers.

I don't think most things are dragged out on Corrie.

I realised after I posted that "dragged" wasn't the right word. What I mean't was that stories are always given adequate build-up before they get too serious.

I heard this story last Christmas.
Was a lot more believeable than other spoilers included in the spoiler list my boss gave us all; Bev is pregnant but doesn't know if Charlie or Ciaran is the daddy, Little Mo's baby is blind and Dennis realises he is gay and comes out with Den supporting him. This broke my heart and my boss stood beside me watching for my reaction to the Dennis bit.
