I think she's getting some play on The Voice as well because Polydor's parent label is Universal, who are in partnership with the show.

It's usually the Joy instrumental aswell as Explosions instrumental used alot and she has popped up on the radio of many of our soaps /also Lights is used quite a bit too.

And Lights is the song that just won't quit still surprised as it did literally nothing here should she perhaps re-release it

Exactly Echad had the radio stations and she herself promoted it more it would have done better but alas wasn't meant to be but then ont he other hand Explosions has sold the equivalent of both TW and GAH combined and helped the album return and gain new ground and there is more of a buzz about her now Also Halcyon was up 3 this week to 23/24

I Need Your Love has really grown on me lately. Never liked it before but went on a road trip last week and it was played about 4 times and I really like it now.

Been a while since i have played it in full...i guess the overplay on Radio 1 at a time didnt pull me too it...but now i kinda think i should...maybe to end the week and round it off a bit

I like it then loathed it as i overplayed it But love it again its what Ellie does best marries the melancholy with the upbeat its the only song that is fully reminiscent of the Lights era on the album save for the Deluxe tracks i just love her more and more

Stay Awake would be great as it goes with the summer weather.

Its kinda like what Madonna did for Like a Prayer in terms of "theme/musical baroque" Ellie has done for Halcyon...that Autumnal/Wintery feel with a euphoria about it...hard to describe but that is as best i can really...but it has been a while so i very much thin kthats one of tomorrows albums ill play for Friday

For me the whole album owes itself wholly to the Halcyon myth moments pf quiet reflection and others of utter joy and sorrow and they way she croons like a bird is all tied up in the perfect little package she really evolved and surpassed every expectation i had of her i had pegged a folky album with a few Electronic touches but boy did she deliver something entirely different and brilliant i would argue better than Ceremonials Also the whole theme of Water and Ice does have a very wintery feel to it. Also i like Explosions, Atlantis, And DITW as a trio as its like the storm then the calm.

And is it me or does Without Your Love sound like it should have been on Pala and totally excited as to where she will go next after Halcyon she can only grow

Listened to the standard version of Halcyon last night whilst revising, I seriously do love it, probably one of my favourite albums from last year, I do hope she will release more singles...I want My Blood to be a single

I think she would be unwise to do so the album has really picked up over the course of the year and is nowhere near losing steam just yet she could get another two potentially and yes My Blood has to be next though i think it was supposed to be thrid but due to Explosions well exploding that was changed plus it is her fave song on the album. But for now i am assuming INYL is serving as 4th single
