Burn official video it's really good i like it. Song has grown to yes its generic average and beneath her but it is also catchy and a nice throw away song.

Watched the "Burn" video, I agree the song has grown on me and I hope it's another hit to add to the tally. The video isn't really much, nicely dressed people, partying, lights...was hoping for a bit more fire, perhaps a bit like Madonna's Like a Prayer video but she looks gorgeous!

I think it suits it i love the finale with the Lights (how appropraite ) And her symbol at the end. I like it its rmeiniscent both song and video in tone of Starry Eyed it has that youthful Euphoria and comes from a good place in comparison to the melancholy of Halcyon. It also show sher versatility from melachonly art diva to big hous dance diva Ellie is all kinds of talent.

And i know the annoyance stemmed really if we're honest from the point of view no EP up in arms EP and Ellie we love you again

better version of You, My Everything sound slike the studio version. I adore this song

It's really grown on me i still think it's a rather genric dance tune but if any pf her songs has a shot at #1 this is it but i doubt it

Still prefer YME though i just love that song and it has to be next single after Burn though i doubt it

Halcyon up 3 to #26

Like i've said before all Halcyon ever needed was another single That said the re-release now feels like a pointless endeavour on the part of the record label and will probably generate next to nothing that halcyon couldn't have gotten on it's own. The only real bonus is that for the fans we get an EP of shiny new songs.

But on an international level i feel thay it will probably gnerate more interest as i have said before Halcyon Days always felt like it wasn't mean tfor the UK as it jsut isn't neccessary.

Calvin and Ellie nominate for best collaboration at the MTV VMA's good like to them i think it's a long shock but some recogintion for Ellie at last

Right Guys time for an Ellie update seems she has been doing rather well so let's start with the UK:

end of year charts Ellie Goulding - Halcyon 18 - 19 - 182,000 (sold in 2013) 316,300 in total. And today she has had her 30th consecutive week in the UK top 40 with 37 in the top 40 in total and 41 overall. So chartwise it has hugely out performed both Lights and Bright Lights Downside sales are so low

Halcyon has shot back up to 55 on the American charts and has sold around 267K

And Burn looks set to be her first top 10 in Australia as Lead artist and is doing similarly well in New Zealend.

I had been so worried after figure 8 bombed so spectaculrly but seems to be going from strength to strength.

Great news then! When is Burn released over here? (think I've already asked )

Halcyon Days 26th August

They've just revelaed the UK covers and tracklisting of Halcyon Days each retain the original Standard and deluxe artworks with slight coulor alterations also the Deluxe is being repackaged.

So basically we have a re-release of both the original and deluxe talk about polydor cashing in total con but there we are. Also looks like the EP was a fable told to sweeten the pill.

The EP thing did seem too good to be true, seems I won't be buying it then, unless the songs are so great then I'll get them off itunes

It's a bit of a shambles i'm a neat freak and i just hate how messy it all is i think 10 editions with varying add ons in total its a little rediculous. Plus the album will never get the acclaim it should have as it has been diluted and weakened by the terrible add ons. I too will not bother will get Burn and You, My Everything (which is now available by the way ) but other than that no.

I think only her true hardcores will by this as a collectors thing otherwise the rest won't bother. And then those who haven't already will but Halvyon Days.

Also think Burn is out 16th not 18th August but not entirely sure

Huge Ellie fan but I really don't like Burn.

It's an okay song probably her weakest single next to Your Song but it's doing well so it's something i suppose

Ellie Goulding- Burn #53 in the US

Hope it will continue to climb in the US, it's probably more radio friendly than Anything Could Happen so they should get behind it

It'll probs with good radio and promo hit top 20 Ellie is becoming quite the star. Halcyon Days will give more album so all in all Ellie is doing great
