Anyway back to that random release of Burn but in remix form it's slightly altered but seemingly for a British audience it's less generic and actually not bad. But with the releas ehaving been brought forward it may hamper Burns chances of success even #1.

Well it seems the remix was unofficial and has been removed i did DL it it was 79P and will tide me over til its official release on the 11th

I think she's got number one in the bag, I doubt Gaga will get it this week she might next week with her video coming out but I doubt she'll get this week. Burns grown on me a bit but she's had way better singles suprised it will likely be her first number one, still happy for her though.

I think it's likely too i'm a bit nervous as Halcyon had the midweeks and then got ousted to #2 by Mumford not that i'm bitter

And i feel the same about Burn it's a decent enough song but there are other better singles that should have got it. I doubt it will even sell as much as Starry Eyed (373k+) in the long run a #4. But a #1 for her would be so great

Glad it's not just me I could just be hearing things but does it sound like they used a bit to much auto tune? Still a number one would be great she's certiantly been waiting long enough.

Yeah i'm not sure whether for effect or not but it detracts from her biggest asset her voice which is unique and beautiful without it. And yes #1 will be so so great and a huge turn around in fortunes from when this era looked likely to flop.

I had my reservations about Halcyon Days and whilst the songs released so far are definitely not as good as Halcyon they are solid pop tracks that serve as a nice extra and all are of higher quality than Burn which was quite misleading. Fans of Lights/Bright Lights i can see loving this as it's more pure pop taken in a rave dub direction. If it shows us one thing it's how incrdibly versatile she cna be and still be of the same quality no matter what she does.

It does indeed even though Burn has grown on me it still isn't her best work. But will be so so happy if she does it and anything to raise her profile is all good #Ellie

I know it's insane after the album fell off the chart and Figure 8 bombed it looked like curtains what an absolute turn around in fortunes so happy for her she is so so deserving she earned that #1.

And other good news Halcyon rises for a 3rd week from 26-19 34 consecutive weeks in the to 40 and 45 on the chart in total. Sales for this year around 198K and in total 338K.

Not her best but still happy she's #1. I don't want to jinx it but she's still #1 on itunes, there's a possibility that she could be #1 again on Sunday

I know it's amazing and all the songs i'm hearing from the EP are brillaint i am hoping Goodness Gracious or You My everything next it'll make up for my blood
