The re-release and discount helped but still a massive achievement .

And just watched it love it bright and colourful suits it so well a little similar to Burn though. also she looks so confident and like such a star revelling in her many successes.

2nd week at #1 for Halycon Days!

Halcyon/Halcyon Days has truly landed, took it's time though

I know she just released the remaster, but I hope Ellie releases a third album soon. I know it probably won't be until August, but I hope not.

Loved Halcyon (Days) but it feels a bit old now.

August is way way way to optimistic in my opinion. essentially what Halcyon Days has done has not only extended the campaign, but kicked started it all over again. By the time the campaign ends it will be June going into summer. And as far as I know she has neither written, nor been in a studio, nor recorded any new music. So album # 3 will b 2015 onwards.

It is annoying as I had the original album and wasn't a fan of HD as it ruined the original album, and now means we must wait even longer for a full album of her own making, not a mainstream pop crossover which smacks of label interference.

Haven't fallen in love with Goodness Gracious yet, would have liked to have seen her release something different or something totally brand new heading into a 3rd album.

She has done incredibly well though, hopefully she'll win a Brit

All this talk of a third album is way premature, and she will suffer over exposure. Halcyon/Halcyon Days isn't going to wind down anytime soon and it will be a year before a third album at the least I can even see a further HD single being released .

I agree with this. I'm expecting a new album next year.

I've just heard some of the tracks from the deluxe. Some of them are pretty good.

Exactly, Lights took 2 and a half years for a full follow up, I'm not expecting a new album for a while .

And yes You My Everything, Goodness Gracious, Hearts Without Chains, Under Control, Midas Touch and her cover of tessellate are all quite good . It's a nice bonus.

And beautiful picture 1992, though her lips look odd, great artwork for both Halcyon and HD this era .

Edit again: Just listened to it again its not that bad tbh lol. We'll see if the single mix can improve it.

It's okay will probs be a moderate hit in the vein of INYL. As a fan it's a shame to see her continue further into the EDM territory when her music beforehand has been so unique and special. Hopefully album 3 will have something for both her old and new fans .

It could be DJ Fresh's next single and not Ellie's as it is now album only on iTunes according to Buzzjack. BTW I think that's a fan made single cover since their is no mention of DJ Fresh on it.

I'm in two minds it definitely felt like a feature placed on HD to bulk it out, but then it could be a collab that both are using to their mutual benefit. If it is single 7/8 personally I would have preffered You My everything to round out and end the era with a summer smash .

Stay Awake would have been awesome too, I just hope it's the final single this era is beginning to drag a bit now
