It's growing on me already I must admit. I'm loving Devotion at the moment.

I actually quite like it, I'm pleasantly surprised because I really haven't liked her new direction ever since 'Burn' and so was expecting a pretty crap album.
Lots of great songs in here, a few that I'm not particularly keen on but I suppose that's to be expected when there's 22 songs. Will have to listen a few more times before I decide which I really do/don't like but at the moment I think my favourite is Aftertaste! Seems to be doing alright on iTunes as it's currently at 4, but I thought she would have been doing better numbers than Little Mix. |

It has grown here for me too, it was going have to be spectacular to beat Halcyon and I never expected it too.
It is what she said it is and in that way it works it is absolutely fantastic pop and there are elements of her quirky nature found to keep it not too middling. Keep On Dancin' simply has to be the next single it is perfect. Is it her best no but following Lights and Halcyon was a hard job is it better than Days yes because she committed and the results are great. Shame it's likely to miss the top two .

I haven't heard anything yet. Gonna find it on Spotify, seeing as it isn't on Prime stream sadly.
I'll post thoughts later on. Amazon's reviews are very mixed. |

I'm seven tracks in so far.
I'm underwhelmed, sadly. Where has her guitar and songwriting gone? It sounds like throw-away pop so far. How is this going to go down at a live concert? Dancing instead of playing instruments?Maybe it'll grow on me. |

I've had a change of heart. I do like this album...which is just as well as I've accidently bought it twice!
I ordered it on Amazon last night after listening to it a couple of times as I'm a Prime member and thought that it would arrive today. It hasn't! It's not looking likely until next week. I downloaded the auto rip version but went out today and was shocked to find the deluxe edition in a supermarket. I canceled my amazon order thinking that they'd take away the download too but they don't. They charge you for it, regardless. I didn't realise until I'd opened the copy that I bought today. I'm determined to love it now! I've got it on repeat. |

Same I don't love it yet but there are definite stand out moments Intro into Aftertatse quite the opener in fact 1-5 is flawless. It goes a bit hit or miss after that but I am beginning to really like it wish I Do What I Love was on the standard
.Also think it will sound great live along songs such as Animal, Goodness Gracious, Burn etc. |

^ I'm starting to like "I Do What I Love" too, though I couldn't stand it at first.
There aren't any tracks that I don't like now. |

I think Aftertaste should be a single. Also the second half of the album sounds better when you listen to it seperately. 'Heal' is fantastic.

Not overly keen on the Deluxe tracks they add little for me save IDWIL, album should have been a simple standard 17 with that on there for me singles wise:
OMM Army KOD L&F Aftertaste DNB Also disappointing position in the UK #3 but her highest first week sales at 38,000+ and has done really well internationally so position wise not her best but overall her best performing album thus far. |

I REALLY like this album. I've had it on repeat in my car.
The only one that I'm not crazy about is "Devotion". |

Chart wise she has the third highest selling album WW this week with 122,000 sold, the gamble paid off.
And same Mimi it's so catchy still not her best but with each listen it get more and more drawn in . Also I absolutely adore Devotion I'm not keen on We Can't Move To This :/. Wonder what next single will be Army seems to have been scrapped?

So after two months I absolutely adore Delirium it is a grower not a song on the standard I do not like and a few on the deluxe two.
Chart wise doing excellent JR giving a boost to Army and the album ending the year as 34th biggest seller .Internationally SITWYM is going to be second single getting serviced to US radio on the 19th. So if it does well guessing it may be third UK single unless they decided otherwise .

Management seem to get it all wrong with single and album releases these days. I really do love this album, though. I play it regularly in my car. |

I saw that she performed "SITWYM" on Alan Carr's show, so assumed that "Army" had been shelved.

Yes initially after a lukewarm reception for Army it was seemingly shelved. Then came ITV promo and a couple of performances and it seems to be taking off but only in the UK. A video is needed though to keep it' momentum definitely an Explosion size hit though.
As for SITWYM internationally it has had a much greater response that is why I think this has happened differing market reactions to each song. But I love the album and glad it is doing well. |

I've been listening to "Delirium" in my car a lot lately. Considering that I wasn't fussed when I first heard it, the album has really grown on me
Also, I saw this - Ellie Goulding & Prince Harry? |
