Yes its been centering on Lights chart positions on the Billboard hot 100 no news of album or single and she was saying Summer ish which can mean from here onwards really so its a bit disconcerting that we have no new news or a buzz track and she said she would not disappear for long its been almost a year.

Lights in #84 on American itunes, so it isn't going anywhere (plus it's gained on itunes) I think it's indeed an achievement for her to get a good few weeks on the Hot 100 even if it is lower down

Well as you say she had a few weeks of solid sales perhaps even maybe gained a gold certificate which for an unknown fringe artist is an achievement

Yeah, it ain't hard to get a certified single over there...plus I'm sure Lights has outlived quite a few singles that got higher on the song

I just hope to God she's not let him anywhere near this project nor let him influence her direction with this album REMEMBER FOLKTRONICA ELLIE!!!!

I know would be disastrous i mean look at Marina she has incorporated dance and stamped her acerbic wit and personality all over it thus moving it forward Ellie needs to do a similar thing keeping what makes her brilliant and moving it forward like look at the extra tracks on Bright Lights Animal, Little Dreams a huge leap forward in a space of months that kept things as they were but pushed them in an opposing direction.

What we don't need is a Ceremonials style affair where it takes an overriding sound i.e Starry Eyed and creates an album of streamlined beautifully crafted songs that ever so slightly push things forward i just wish we had news

I'd like something like Lights something on first glance simplistic but beneath the surface is much more she basically created a folk album with a house remix just do not want a repeat of Lights

it was more to do with Glee that was their springboard so again perhaps a glee cover ?

So an album has been confirmed for late in the year, finally we have confirmation! Would have liked a summer album but I guess you can't win them all! And our worst fears have been confirmed, Skrillex has "influenced" the album

I know i am a little annoyed she said she would not disappear for ages this means more work for her and a now make or break album stupid Ellie and even more stupid for allowing Skrillex to take a hand in it this will either be a disaster or a complete success
