I think Ellie spoke to soon with all the not disappearing lark, when she made the first album there wasn't much demand for her but without a doubt she must feel pressure with the new one therefore it's taken longer than she's hoped and yes! I hope it's the latter and that it changes my mind about Skrillex I just hope she doesn't lose the little quirky folktronica girl

I think there was a little pressure as she won Both BBC sound of and critics choice but this time round with the added pressure i feel she has foundered a bit and taken to long and now with Skrillex on board as you say i hope i like him better for it and she progresses but doesn't move to far away from the Ellie we love.

Somebody said that in the TV version of the interview she was reluctant to talk about Skrillex

Yes i was confused by that she said he hadn't influenced the album yet others say she said yes

I suppose they like to sell an "interesting" story to us pressed Skrillex dislikers

I know but most Ellie fans who dislike him will be treating him like yoko ono and the beatles

But at least Lights is doing great stateside and news and possible (hopefully no push backs etc)release date even if it is late in the year but less competition and Xmas round the corner

Ooh yeah! Sorry but still everyone hyping over 1D and The Wanted going platinum and there songs have been in top 10! Ellie manages it without top 40 power...although I know in US platinum means very little

Was it even released? On Billboard it cites the album for Lights as the An Introduction to Ellie Goulding EP

yeah with a mix of the origianl Lights and Bright Lights 11 tracks in total and the cover was the picture on the back of the bright lights booklet.
