Nathalie please come back very soon I know your upset about Josies tweet but I'm positive she was only aiming it at the people who have been nasty to her and her supporters, which you are one of so please don't take it to heart xx

It's not because she's lost weight. It's because she has taken control over the situation. The Marbella shots were about people trying to humiliate her because of her weight. That's what was shocking about those, not the fact that she was a bit overweight. For me, anyway.

You expressed it so much better than I did. I love the fact she’s regained the control, turned all the ‘fat’ slurs to something positive & empowering.
BTW I actually liked the bikini paps, no they weren’t flattering but I abhor the idea that anyone over a certain size should be covered up. I also really liked the one where she's laughing at/with someone whilst holding her belly. The expression was typical Josie.

And since we are on the subject of ampleness I would just like to say a heartfelt thanks to J-Lo and Beyonce. Thanks to them my arse has been in fashion for the last 10 years. Long may the ample behind reign.

on the last thread someone said something about not being impressed about Josie's naked photoshoot for Now magazine.
I am sorry if I upset anyone, but I too am not at all impressed by he doing something like this.....


not becasue I care about nudity, cos I dont. and the shots of her on the front page of NOW are tasteful and do look attractive....



But she is opening a massive can of worms for herself. By posing naked in the press she is creating an open season for almost everyone to comment on her naked body and what they think about it.
If Josie is happy to have her body discussed in the press, in both flattering and unflattering terms then fair enough. But someone like Jodie Marsh has created a laughing stock of herself by doing something similar......

It is very difficult for a female to be taken seriously if she poses nude......and in my opinion this could close a lot of doors for Josie....



As for her relationship with John, its long gone, and id imagine something like this will be a pretty final nail in it .

Remember how John was extremely scathing to Rachael about her dreams of posing naked for page 3 magazines.... it was one of those conversations that I thought he handled badly and was rude, but ....I did kind of know where he was coming from. I would hate and try really hard to disuade my daughters from doing a naked photoshoot even if they did get paid loads of money for it. Becasue in my opinion it does have other unexpected connotations, and you need to be really rich or thickskinned to cope with some of them

So I cant imagine him or his friends being that impressed by Josie posing naked for money....

It really isnt Page 3 though is it but each to their own. I cant imagine for even one second that Josie would care whether John and is mates approve of her photos or not.

Well all I can say is life is never dull in the world of a JJJ supporter, why can't we support a boring couple who doesn't give us all such strong opinions lol

About the Now Mag photoshoot, I personally don't see anything wrong with it and I don't see it as the same as doing the likes of Nuts Mag which are aimed at men,(not that I think that is wrong either), which Now mag isn't, they have mainly female readers as far as I can see and I haven't seen inside so I could be wrong Josie isn't exposing anything she is covering her bits lol and I certainly don't think it will do her career or self confidence any damage.

And someone posted that they didn't think it would be something John James would have approved of (wtte), we'll he is apparently very happy with his new girlfriend why would he care xx

If this is the case, and to be honest Josie would be in a good position to know, maybe she is fine with that? On the evidence I'm seeing recently it may well be that she really and truly doesn't care what he thinks about this or anything else. She may not care if he's done because of this... maybe there was a final nail for her?

To be honest I am a bit on the fence on this one as to whether I think it is wrong or not. If he, or anyone, thought it was wrong, I could understand it. She's a pretty tough girl though, maybe she's aware of the consequences? I don't think I could deal with them, I'd be all too aware of them! But much of what Josie does I couldn't have... I couldn't have gone in BB, or celeb juice (or got drunk on it and show my face) or gone on TV and talked about my personal life. Not because I think it is all inherently wrong and can't be explained but mainly because I couldn't deal with the consequences and care whether people judge me... I don't think she does so much. I definitely think John cares whether he is judged hence his not even being present anymore!! (virtually or otherwise!)

I don't think Josie gives a rats ass if John's friends are unimpressed with her posing naked. So are you saying there was a chance they could get back together, until Josie got her baps out?

People have had an opinion on Josie's body from the minute she walked into the Big Brother house, of which she had no say at all. She will have known before she did the shoot that she would get some criticism for it, yet she did it anyway. And trying to portray a positive body image I think is slighly different to posing provocatively for the gratification of spotty teenagers who get their older brothers to buy them Nuts mag. Just my opinion of course

I'm sorry but Josie has not done a full frontal top shelf photo shoot has she? As far as I have seen she has had some tastefully shot pictures which show her body but keeps her modesty. Isn't it in regards to an article about being proud of your body shape?

Josie has had to take an awful lot of unfair criticism for her size. Those papped shots I am convinced where made to look as bad as possible.

Josie is looking blimmin fantastic at the minute, always thought she did anyway, but we know she was insecure about her size before she went into BB11, so god knows how she felt after that.

Didn't John do a very skimpy photo shoot?

Didn't John have posters of women on his wall.

Didn't John openly fancy a previous winner who had done numerous topless shoots and so on.

My point is I don't think John would have a huge issue with this, his argument was with Rachel and no further explanation needed really.

First of all, I'd like to address my own personal feelings on Josie's Calendar picture in now.

1) She looks GORGEOUS!!!!!
2) I think it is wonderful that she is finally starting to feel confident in her own skin, embracing her womanly curves and looking beautiful while she's at it.
3) It's a finger's up to all those who laughed, attacked and insulted her for the Marbella photos!!

And actually, if Josie and John were still friends now .. I reckon he'd be one of the first to buy a copy and stick the pics on his wall (like he had similar posters of Katie Price and Sophie Reade on his wall at home) He told Jo in BB that if she or any of the HM's posed for a mag in this way he would buy copies of it!

Also, in the interview they did with OK where they were dressed as Katie and Peter - he said he WOULDN'T have a problem if Josie wanted to do it!

John himself, has posed half naked in photos for Now so I doubt he would be prude-ish about his ex girlfriend doing something similar! (Yes, his photos he had a towel wrapped round him and we saw him this way in the house all the time blah blah blah so it's not the same ... but I didn't say it was the same I said SIMILAR!) And my goodness, weren't those pictures drooled over! (The thread needed a mop down when they came out) I hope there will be a lot of men around the country tomorrow drooling over Josie too!

I truly don't believe John would have the slightest issue with Josie posing for these pictures .. and really, even if he did .. there's not a lot of say he would have in it, anymore .. is there? When some comments were made about Sherrie and the attire she wears for her dancing career .. those were pounced on! So why is it okay for her to wear revealing, scantily-clad outfits but not for Josie to show off her birthday suit? (I didn't think the comments made were fair about Sherrie - for the record.. and NOR do I think some of the comments now are fair about Josie .. so there are no double standards from me before anyone wants to accuse me of such!)

Comments have been made about Josie's body since the day she walked through the BB house doors! Whenever a photo is made public of her - people will have comments to make whether they think she looks good, bad, beautiful or ugly. At least now she KNOWS she looks great and hopefully feels it too

Most men are always going to both objectify, compare and be critical of women's bodies (and women will do the same with women too!!)
