Re. the 6 months since being seen naked, I haven't been seen naked in 10 years... that's just an estimate, it's not a to-the-hour timing. I think it was a throwaway remark, although I know that some think that all Josie says has to have some deep meaning about John.

If that were the case, the article was done in July apparently, that would mean John hadn't seen her naked since January - opening up a big can of worms! So maybe stick with the 'it's a throwaway remark' scenario? which is in all probability what it was, I certainly don't think Josie was throwing out cryptic messages about John, she was just making a joke [/QUOTE]

Not that I'm saying that is the case but - hypothetically, if she were seeing somebody (or enjoying the occasional bit of male company) she is hardly going to tell the world as it's none of their business.

I can already hear the echoes of "OMG that deluded lot on thread no 202" but who cares - I am not getting off the bench - i've got time to spare sitting there with all my like minded friends, but no longer than 5 years please.

Seriously, though I just wonder if he has deliberately taken a step back from twitter, facebook etc because he has seen that whenever he says anything even something innocent it seems to cause upset for Josie. I think he thinks that he was holding Josie back and that their arguing was doing neither of them any good and that was why he left, but it wasn't a clean break and he could see Josie was not coping well, so he thought if he was nasty , she would then get over him quicker and be able to stand on her own two feet and do the things she wanted to do.

Now that he sees she is doing well and enjoying life, he can be happy for her from a distance, hence the reason for the deleted tweets.

Or alternatively he had a major teenage strop that last for six months. Hey what do I know.


Am I the only one who read that tweet in a completely different way, and that he was not trying to humiliate her at all.
I thought he was trying to say he didn't care because he has never worried what people look like.

Everyone goes on about John humiliating her and how nasty that was, but the pictures and article had already been spread over twitter by Josie's fans and it was in a Daily Paper, so everyone had already seen it by the time John tweeted it. Also no-one complains about OK and NOW using exactly the same pictures over and over again to write further stories about fitness or fashion ranges or Josie's column. So it wasn't John who humiliated her at all.
