I'm an iPhone 4 owner and previously owned an iPhone 3G. I am certainly not an iSheep and the iPhone is the first ever product I have purchased from Apple. My mobile phone history started off with Nokia when they really made great phones then I moved over to Sony Ericsson for their styles.

I never went for the original iPhone 2G as I believe I wanted one with 3G capability but purchased the 3G when it first came out and it was the best phone I have ever owned by miles. Missed the 3GS as basically the same as the 3G but got the iPhone 4. Still to this day iPhone is an excellent product whether it has an Apple badge or not.

In my mindset I still don't think LG or Samsung make good phones and I will still not buy their phones but will certainly buy their TVs.

So not everyone follow the crowd. My iPhone remains the only Apple product that I have. I don't have an iPod, iPad, iMac or any other things starting with an i. Those who moan at people owning an Apple product really is pathetic.”

I think you should have some experience of the phones you berate before berating them... I went from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy S2 because I was dissatisfied with Apple messing about over the release of the iPhone 5. I loved my iPhone and still think it an excellent phone. However, the SGS2 was refreshingly different and excellent in all departments. I was also glad to see what IOS5 was going to bring to the iPhone and realise that I was not going to miss anything as the SGS2 can already do it.
So I'll miss out the iPhone 5, but, that does not mean I will not be very interested in the iPhone 6 should Apple come up with something new....
As for the blackberry, I don't hate it, I just prefer larger screens..If they suit the needs of the owner, then there is nothing wrong with them.
I think some people forget they have choices and just because they make theirs that doesn't make anyone else's wrong....

How's your signal strength? If you have less than full bars, then your phone is using up your battery to boost the radio.

Blackberry's a good little phones for those who don't feel the need to have pointless apps. Like another poster said apps on the iPhone are of no value really and are just for gimmick cash in value that doesn't offer anything or help you in anyway. Reason why I like my BB Curve is because there are various apps for communication. So if I cant get hold of someone by phone or text I know that I can reach them either on BBM, Ping, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter or send them an email straight from my phone. Great! just what I want.”

This proves that Blackberry really are the social networking giants when on the move. iPhones deliver just a little bit more than communication... but I guess that is what you pay for. The same could be said for a high end Android phone for example such as the HTC Sensation.

In the three to four years of having a blackberry I don't remember the bbms not working, neither have I found it to be any less or more reliable than any other smart phone, and just about everybody I know has a smart phone now.
