Sam Mitchell's Bridesmaid
Is anyone surprised she can't find a bridesmaid? It just shows how few people in soaps actually have friends. Usually the 30-50 years old people.

Yeah, and there's also the fact that so many people hate each other's guts living in the square..

Yeah I thought that. Alot of soap characters don't have friends, they just seem to have a family and maybe a boyfriend once inawhile. I don't think there's an excuse for such a big cast as Eastenders. Zoe and Sam? 10 years differance, never remember that relationship.

It's because there are so few women Sam's age (30ish)!
Sharon Jane Kate Chrissie Kat That's IT. She doesn't know Chrissie, hates Kate, hates Sharon, friends with Kat, aquantainces with Jane. So really the only possibilities were Kat and Jane, but Kat hates Andy. So there you go. Bring in more middle aged peoples EE!

I doubt they'll act upon it, but there's the interesting notion that Sam, Phil's sister, has chosen Jane, Ian's obviously imminent significant other, as a bridesmaid. And we all know that Ian and Phil were never really the happiest of step-relations, were they.

Shut up alan45, you watch Eastenders still? Well there has been some very good praise for the last few episodes and I haven't seen you comment on that. Corination Street is just as bad with quick weddings and such.

Hi Fannanni,
Over the water we can see Eastenders on either BBC 1 with no adverts or on RTE 1 with the adverts. |

They really missed a trick there (what a surprise) - it would have been more interesting if Pat WAS the bridesmaid
The Corrie writers would have gone through with that, just to let us see what Pat wore on the day I don't think Sam has ever had any female friends - on account of she keeps shagging everyone else's ex doesn't she? Either that or they have shagged her brother. She isn't exactly a woman's woman, is she. I don't think anyone mentioned Kate as a potential bridesmaid of similar age, but then again she's out on the shagging stakes too. |

I didn't understand the Pat bit? Was she being serious? Why did Andy want Pat to do it anyways?
