DS Forum on your phone

Hi Guys,

I only joined DS this month, and I am loving taking part in the UK's leading media discussion; it still amazes me the sheer size of this forum!

I am a member of numerous other forums, and I like to post and keep up to date with what is going on within those pages on my mobile. I have an iPhone, and tend to use the Tapatalk app in order to do this. When searching for the DS Forum on this app, it would appear that it's not included.

This is where I would like to ask for your help. Is there a way that you can the DS forum on the iPhone without having to go through the safari? it is possible to post via the safari as I have done this before, but I have found it to be a bit awkward.

Thank you!

Scroll to the bottom of any forum page and select the mobile view from the dropdown menu in the purple bar, or simply bookmark this on your phone http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/?styleid=51

There has been extensive discussion on whether DS should include tapatalk support in other threads with admin basically saying there is no plan to however they have added the mobile theme.

The popular opinion seems to be that this is to avoid losing the potential for advertising revenue that adding support for tapatalk would mean. Personally I'm hoping it's because they want to employ good web design by not wanting to annoy regular users with a spam pop up message inviting them to buy tapatalk the first time they visit on a mobile and any subsequent times they visit if they clear cookies.

Incidentally, what is wrong with using the normal theme with safari? I do and have typed this post out using mobile safari without any problems at all

I now use the DS mobile version to post on forums; it works well.

It would be nice to have DS included in the Tapatalk app as that app works well. Still, for me the mobile web version is good for now.

Mobile safari works on them all and has the added benefit of being free
