EE: Chrissie Appreciation
Anyone else think Tracey-Ann Oberman is perfect as Chrissie? I do! So this is an appreciation thread for (the best?) female character in EE. Sympathy for her having to be married to Den though. But they do make a fantastic couple, as she is just right for him.
Tracey-Ann is a very good actress as well. On the Kate Vs Chrissie night she was FANTASTIC and Monday she was great too.

I agree chocopop. Chrissie has been a saviour for this sinking ship.

Slightly off topic but I saw her in the street waiting for a taxi about 3 weeks ago.
I was with some workmates and one of them spoke to her (big EE fan) and she chatted for a bit and gave him a hug. She seemed really down to earth and friendly |

I'm another admirer. I think she is a great actress, so glad she is back in the programme, hope she stays now.

She's absolutely great - don't remember her Family Affairs says though. I recognise her voice from many radio adverts.
I don't think Patsy Kensit could of played her, glad she didn't get the part. |

She was alright in Bob Martin with non-murderer Michael Barrymore but she's just an overacting eye rolling ham in EE.

Out of 2 I'd give her one. She definitely makes EE more watchable.

Chrissie's great, one of the very few reasons for watching EE. Anyone know how long her contract is?

I mean she can't really leave anytime soon, can she? Once her and Den get back together (inevitable) she can't just bugger off without Den having to go too. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() lolI know she COULD leave, but it would be stupid. The producers should cling onto her as long as possible, for she is fab ![]()

If they have any sense (questionable) then yes they should cling onto her, chocopop. I meant though, that it will probably be her decision to leave -- especially if she keeps having snogging scenes with Den

![]() Tehehehe... I think the writers are slowly drowning out those disgusting snogging sessions (Den+whoever) as they have finally realised that he is getting older.

Chrissie's good. She was the start of the improvements to EE, and she's always very watchable.

Yes I like her. Its weird how some new characters work instantly and others just dont.
Did anyone see her on Celebrity Mastermind a while ago? She was really good, and her specialist subject was the Roman Empire - I dont think she got a single question wrong. Nice to have some intelligent crumpet on EE for a change - Can you imagine Kim Medcalf or Zoe Ryan going on? Just to go off-topic for a moment, I wish they'd get rid of Kim Medcalf, I find her really irritating, and she can't act for toffee. |

Chrissie's a great character. Shame I find all the plots she features in unbearable though.. Nobody could make Den Watts a more likeable character.

I also think Chrissie is great. Much as I hate him, I hope she does stay with Den. She's become close with Sharon so please please don't have Chrissie hooking up with Dennis.
