Bluetooth Problems On Samsung Galaxy S2

Just wondering if anyone with the Galaxy S2 is having any problems when connecting to a hands free in the car, on my Bury cc9060 everything works fine on the bury apart from the signal strength all it ever shows is a full signal strength

Also on a jvc radio with built in bluetooth in my car its the same on this , all it shows is the signal strength to be full. My I phone 4 is fine.

Anyone else having this problem with this ?

Mine links with the Bluetooth system fitted into the car perfectly without any problems. Tried it with both the iPhone and the SGS2 and both performed without a hitch.
Tried them on my Parrot mini in my other vehicle to test it for you and they worked on that perfectly also.
Not sure from your post if you mean it connects but the signal strength is showing differently to the iPhone or that you cannot connect....

Hi thanks for reply, I have this in my car and van http://www.google.co.uk/products/cat...d=0CFMQ8wIwAg#

What is happening is that when I connect my phone to the Bury it connects fine and everything works, but the signal strength on the Bury always shows as full like on a mobile phone in a strong signal area.

This is due so say Bury that the Phone is bluetooth v3.0 where phones like the I phone are v2.1 .

Does anyone who has a v3.0 bluetooth phone could see if the signal strength works with their car bluetooth hands free. ie nokia n8 newer samsung phones, the Galaxy s1 is also v 3.0 Do Parriot bluetooths show the signal strength with the newer 3.0 phones ?

Thanks

My Parrot mini doesn't show signal strength and the one built into the car certainly doesn't. As long as it all works it would not really seem relevant.
I take it this is just to satisfy your curiosity rather than solve any technical issues?

A Bit if both its just with my job I drive a lot on back roads at night, and I like to check if I have a signal before making a call , so with the bury not showing the signal strength its a bit of a pain.
