That really dose take the piss!

Power corrupts and total power corrupts totally. The biggest bully on the block going after a family run cafe because they are called Apfelkind (Applechild).

They will be going after shops that sell Apples next

Not quite a fan boy, but I do love my iPhone and iPad. However, I can't defend this.

Apple are turning into a really scummy company. They have gone full circle and become everything they were against in the first place. See their advert for the Mac back in 1984. Its no longer about being different.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhsWzJo2sN4

With any luck the regulators will catch up with them like they did with Microsoft.

Agreed 100% thats what happens when a tech company gets greedy. Surely folks have sussed out the signs. The 50p cable that costs £25 in the Appple store, or the £100 extra for flash memory on a device that costs them about £4 extra to provide. What about the £64 to replace an iPhone battery?

Apple are past the point of being anything other than a fashion statement with designer price tags.

This must be a wind up. No matter how impartial and unbiased the Telegraph could be, I'm really finding this hard to believe!

The usual candidates are quiet in relation to apple intellectual property. Apple have been a vile company for a while now why is amy one really surprised.

Apple are getting desperate. They obviously want to get more cult followers.

Also in the apple news:-

That's the website of a local fitness centre which is not just called Apple but also has a logo of an Apple in their logo! The lawyers will literary be foaming with rage!

Apple seem to now have the multi-touch patent in the US. (simply a trait of new capacitive screens. The old resistive screens were almost always single touch only)

I'm slightly worried that it is American protectionism in action via the patent office. It happens far more in a recession.

edit - and it now seems Apple are now by chance anti-British.

Its Apple playground and they can do whatever they want with it. Like I said earlier I hope the regulators wise up and take action against Apple.

They prefer to stay 'niche' though so if the punters keep buying that's what will happen.

Android has its warts(or should it be hemorrhoids?) but it is far more natural for choice.

Proves that apple users are morons who couldn't tell a coffee shop from an Apple store (the non fruit kind).

Seriously though, this does demonstrate that Apple treat their customer base as being seriously low of IQ.

"Apple’s lawyers have claimed that siding with Proview will “confuse customers and hurt their interests.”"

Only true if no deal is reached and Apple have to pull the iPad. However I do wonder why it is in our interests to have no Android. Android can really help force Apple to broaden the horizon for IOS owners too.
