You're right that you can't wait, because it won't happen

Apple TV was originally called iTV while under development but the name was changed shortly before launch for this exact reason. Apple would rather change the product name globally than have a product called different things in different markets.

There is no doubt in my mind that Apple are a vile company that cares about nothing but the dollar. However, this is true of any of the worlds large companies.
What amazes me and truly shows a lack of intelligence, is the vociferous outcry of defence whenever someone points out how ridiculous they (Insert company here) are. Brand loyalty to the degree that some people show, can't be far off the mindset tapped into by extreme political organisations.......

Politics... religions... It's why you should never discuss smartphones at a dinner party. It'll only end up in an argument!

Apple and Samsung have both had patent lawsuits - taken out against each other - thrown out by a German court.

A spokesman for the Mannheim state court said judges had dismissed both cases involving ownership of the "slide-to-unlock" feature used on their respective smartphones.

Probably a sensible decision.

If anyone remembers the much misaligned Skoda, to me most of this is about training us users to see Samsung as 'another dodgy Skoda'.

Court costs also make it a major nuisance to manufacturer Android products. Choose Microsoft and we are back to that semi-cosy duopoly but with less pain for the manufacturer.

I could not quite fathom the above in that what did this result mean with regards to the "slide-to-unlock" in Munich?
