Applause Store opened their reserve list for the live shows today:

One quick question to whose who know, when you have priority membership, do you actually get priority tickets to the live shows and get in? I know it says that they're not issuing them, but some people on the forum (in last year's threads) said that they got priority tickets...
Hopefully they will be doing tickets for the Wembley Arena Final as well - just found out that the winners aren't getting tickets to both final shows, half of the winners are going on Saturday, half are going on Sunday, which leaves 7000 for Applause Store people!!!

They gave some out last year, but it does say this year so maybe they've changed it.

You'll be very, very lucky if you do. If you get normal tickets I'd probab;y think twice about even trying if I'm honest, the queues were ridiculous last year.

Fact is, it did say exactly the same thing about priority tickets last year...
I'm still a bit annoyed with TalkTalk about the whole Final thing though - seems like "if you're not TalkTalk you can't go to the final" judging from the T&C, which prices my above point completely false...I highly doubt Applause Store will be doing tickets to the final since TalkTalk had taken all the tickets

Sorry, bumping it again. Yesterday afternoon they release ticket to ALL live shows except the Final. Got my tickets for the quarter-final. Can also confirm it's definitely not priority this year.

I've never done this before and don't really know how it works, but I just booked 3 tickets for the 26th November show, I think that's the one before the semi-finals.

But there's still a slim chance of actually getting into the studio, right?

Ha, you've booked the same date as me!

Basically, if you get tickets, they will be stand-by. Basically, after all the celeb guests/contestants friends and family go in, then the remaining seats are filled up by the general audience. You are not guaranteed entrance. I'm turning up at 10-11am to the queue to make sure to be in the front, so if you turn up then, there's a very high chance of getting in.

Normally for other shows, there are Priority tickets for priority members (like 15 quid a year). They aren't doing any for X Factor as they don't know the number of celeb guests turning up, and therefore how many priority seats to reserve.

Just to ask, did you put your name on the reserve list back in August? Because they're only taking bookings from people on the list...

I didn't put my name on the reserve list! Does that mean there's not chance I'll get tickets? It seems ridiculous to even let me book if there's no chance I'll get them.

Well, you might be lucky. Basically, it means that they'll do the reserve list requests first, then the general ones. Here's what it says on the booking page:

I went to the 1st live show last year would say to anyone to be there in the q b4 3pm if you def want to get in and be prepared for a long wait as they dont open the doors till the last minute I personally wouldnt bother again prefer to watch at home with bottle of vino collapso nice box of choccies

My daughter has tickets for Saturday, so any advice on how long you queued for etc would be useful...!

Get there no later than 11:30am is all I would say. From my experiences from going in 2009 and 2010 that is the absolute deadline, especially if there are loads of VIPs coming that night as well...

I doubt it's changed much for this year as well...

I have been given priority tickets for one of the November shows, which is quite a surprise since it seems by these threads very rare to get them. I just wanted to ask if I will definitely be given access, since I'm travelling for 2hours to get there. It says get there 60 minutes before, but is there an advised time for priority people?
Also, do your tickets say on them - Ticket Type: Standby - then?

Lucky you they told.me on the phone they aren't doing priority because they don't know how many seats to book put etc.
Official deadline is 45 mins beofre doors open.
And my tickets do.say Ticket type: Normal.

That's strange they said that to you. I had two emails come through: one from the reserve list with a normal code, the other a priority booking code. My eticket says priority.
However I did get turned away from auditions and couldn't make bootcamp.
I think I will phone up before just to make 100% sure.
And I know it says 60 minutes, but is there an advised time for priority? I don't want to get there and find a really long priority queue too!

I'm really glad I have priority ones though, since I've been wanting to go for years now, and it's quite expensive with trains and staying over!

I have tickets for this Saturday, but I'm unable to go now. I called applause store to tell them to pass my ticket to someone on stand by and they said I didn't need to call because they give out hundreds more tickets than there is room for. So I'd definitely say get there early from what they said.
