If you got Prioirty you are very lucky! I have tickets today and one of our party is on crutches so I rang Applause store to see if there were any arrangements for disability, I am a gold member so usually get priority tkts and had them for both auditions and bootcamp.

The lady I spoke to was lovely but very clear that there is no priority tkts or disabled entry for the live finals as demand is just too great. We are going for arriving at 3pm and hoping that will be early enough, can't really stand for much longer with crutches. Its a 2 hour drive though so hoping it will all be fine

I'm sorry but 3pm is way too late, you need to be there at like 7 in the morning to be able to gain access to the studio. If you could arrange a wheelchair maybe? and then for the last hour or so stand? or something. Also how did you get tickets for the live final, I'm gold member too, but I have not heard anything from them.

We were here by about 2.30 and are about 150 people back, no idea yet whether we will get in but there are a good 300 behind us and they are still letting people join, he has said we wont know until6.20 whether we stand any chance of getting in

Just in case anyone is interested for next week, we easily got in arriving at 2.30 and during the show Roycey was chatting to a girl who had started queuing at 4, buti wouldn't want to risk that. The only downside to this audience compared to many others I have been to, is that they gave no idea as to whether you would get in. Applausestore staff came along and explained they would not know until doors opened whether they had 5 seats or 500. They were still letting people join the queue at 6pm although I doubt they got in.

The first person in the queue had been there from 7am and her dedication won her 2 free tickets to the Grand Final!

Nice one, seems like it does pay off to queue early, xD.

How did you get your tickets, I applied on the applause store website like 10 days ago and nothing, I've just reapplied for ALL the dates. I really want some tickets too, urgh.

I was sent an email on 3rd October saying as I was on reserve list I would get first chance at tickets and asking me to choose 1 date for 4 tickets only and there was a promo code. Followed the instructions and got my confirmation email on the 10th October. Have been on the reserve list for at least two previous series and applied for date after date with no luck so I think its just a case of perseverance, have been really lucky this year getting tickets for auditions in London and Manchester and Bootcamp as well

Hi ive been 4 times, and I'm always there about 7am in the morning to be sure of getting in. I got tickets to the final 2 years ago. Got there at 6 am. We was 4th in the Q. And did not get in. So it's first cone first serve. It's a magical experience!

alijj, did you see if there was a priority queue and whether they all got in? (since my ticket says priority pass). Just thought I'd check.
Thanks

There didn't seem to be a priority queue as such, but we did notice a couple of people showing their tickets to applause store employees and being taken to the front so can only suppose these were priority pass holders, there was a smaller queue right up at the door but someone said that was friends and family ( not sure if that was true)

He did say sometimes they only have 5 seats given to them The other thing we were told, by security rather than applause store, was that if you have Sunday tickets you need to be there much earlier as there are far fewer seats available, they said 9am at the latest. Think I would rather sit and watch at home than queue for nearly 11 hours for the results show

That's a lie. I went to the 2009 results where Rihanna/Alicia performed, and the 2010 Saturday final show and both times I arrived around 11am and still got in to the show...

As long as you're relatively at the front of the queue, you stand a very good chance of getting in. There are 800 seats in the studio and usually around 650 are taken up by VIP/friends and family, so if you are pretty close to the front it should be ok...

Obviously I have no experience of the results show, so just repeating what we were told. It was actually a girl in front of us who had tickets for both shows and was asking what time she should be there to try and guarantee entry.

Thanks for letting me know, but now I'm worried I might not get in even with a priority ticket, if there wasn't a queue for them! Might have to give AS a ring.

Thanks.

Hi all

I went to the live show last Saturday, got there about 9am and there were about 15 people in the queue infront of us. As others have said, the applause store staff said that they have no idea how many seats are going to be available and that it is not guaranteed that anyone will be going in until you are physically sat in your seat inside the studio. I've got absolutely no idea how many people from the normal queue got in but I'd say get there as early as possible!! It might seem a long wait but it is definitely worth it for the experience!

I believe the priority ticket holders went in before the normal queue people and are guaranteed entrance as long as they're there an hour before or whatever it says on the ticket. I've had priority tickets for auditions before and went in before the normal ticket holders, didn't get better seats though!

One thing I would say is that if all of your group members can't get there early, as long as they are all there before 4-4.30pm, when they start checking tickets and giving you stamps, you should be fine, as the workers said it would be fine for people to come later. One of my friends didn't get there until about half 5, by which time my friend and I had already been stamped, so we thought she wouldn't be able to get in. One of us suggested that she went to the back of the queue with our tickets and tried to get a stamp, which she did, and then she came back up to join us near the front and no one said anything about it!

For those asking what time you get out, they make you stay in the studio for the first two parts of Xtra Factor and then everyone leaves, think we got out about half 10ish.

Good luck to anyone trying to get in this weekend!

Bumping it up, I'm going in 2 weeks time (Sat. 26)...anyone who's been, have the queues increased since the start of the Live Shows?

Bump - again.
It would be very useful if the people who went wrote their experiences on here so those of us who're going soon know what's going on this year in terms of how many people get in etc...

We went to the live show this sunday and started queueing at 2pm.

By 6pm the queue behind us had only increased by about 50 people, but had got a lot wider in front of us, which makes a mockery of the "you cannot hold places for people"

Applause store staff dont turn up until 4pm so up until that time, anybody can hold a space for any number of people without anyone doing anything about it.

Security staff there are not bothered in the slightest about people joining the queue mid way, but are more interested in telling you to "get out of the road" (something that they dont actually have the right to do).

So like i said, we queued from 2pm...... and didnt get in. If the queue had been marshalled properly from the morning, we would have. But seeing as MOST of the people in the queue arrived after us and simply joined friends in the queue, at 6pm we were still pretty much at the back.

We informed applause store of our concerns and i wont go into detail about what they did, but it involves asking people if they pushed in

I have tickets to next saturdays show too, but im not going out of principle because i think its a farce to print in big bold letters on the tickets that you are not allowed to hold places in the queue for friends etc, and then not be there until 4pm to control that, when the queue starts to grow from about 12.

Applause store staff (especially Chris the queue manager) are an awesome bunch, and do their absolute best to look after you, and this situation is not their fault.

Its just the way that the queueing management is handled for the x-factor shows.

So, basically, if you are going to watch one of these live shows.... get there early.... and if your mates are coming with you, they can arrive anytime before 4pm and push in without being noticed.

UKD.

Also, anyone who actually managed to get in, do they check everyone's ID? Because there's a bit of inconsistency about the age limit, on the website and my tickets (I got them on the day they first came out, October 3) said that it's 12+ and all under-16 require ID, but according to some it's now saying that AL UNDER-16s MUST be accompanied by an over-18...although the website still remains the same...

Regarding age, there seemed to be a few younger looking people in the queue, but im not sure if they had to provide proof of age.

My adivce though is get there VERY early, and if any of your party look younger than the minimum age, make sure they carry photo id. If they ARE younger and look older you may get away with it.
