I agree that most of the music Radio 1 plays is crap. What's completely untrue is this notion (which you implied) that Radio 1 snubs mainstream acts purely to favour indie 'cool' acts to try and seem credible. If you listened to the station or even looked at their playlist from time to time, you'd see how much mainstream chart crap they constantly play.

I used to watch it too and SMTV as well. I could never get into Live and Kicking or even Top of the Pops.

I was thinking the same. If it flops then its because its been around too long plus the video is their worst to date. They do nothing and it goes no where. I'm pretty annoyed tbh as they could be great but I fear the promotion from this new label might damage them.
