Does anyone know where the apps go after they've finished downloading and how you get them onto your home screen? I only got it today so still learning lol

Assuming you installed via the Marketplace you usually press a centre bottom button to show and scroll down all your apps.

The simply press and hold the app which then lets it drop on your prior screen.

Give the S2 a chance, I didnt like mine when I got it now I love it. Much better than an iPhone, it will take a bit of getting used to though if you've never used android before but once you do you won't go back to iOS

Why? Is it because you have to learn something a bit different?

Touch the applications app on the bottom row and you find all your apps and you can add them to the home screens from there.
You can go to settings, Applications, Manage applications to see them all as well. You can uninstall from here as well.
