Not only can Chesney afford to pay for a flat and all the bills by selling plastic dog bones, he has enough spare change to put in a tin!!!
Pathetic idiot

Katy is very attractive, isn't she?
and she likes frogs

Everybody hates a grass, so you grass again. Great line of thinking Fiz. Really inspired.
Not everbody

Chesney looks like he's got a fake Hitler moustache on.
I have never seen his top lip. His nose gets in the way

I just don't know how the regulars can act their way through this pathetic story line.

It's not played for laughs and it's not taken seriously either.

What is the point of it?
The scenes with the girls in the pub were totally brilliant

That's Kelvin Fletcher's sister.
Bomber Harris AKA Miss Slugden

Couldn't believe it when Mary came out with that!
Such a star

Writers, make up your mind. Do you want us to hate Kylie, or do you want us to like her?
HATE and her pathetic 'husband'

Im very very open minded and have no problem with transvestites but Marcia makes my skim crawl.
She's very unattractive

They're Audrey's friends, not his and she knows how they were likely to react. He's a selfish git.
He went too far

Kevin in drag.......
I had a vision of Freddie Mercury with a hoover

What anoys me about the whole Fiz thing is that the prison governer promised her protection if she 'helped' them with the drug problem. Haven't seen any sign of it so far.

Also agree that Fiz a should stop being a wimp. She's got a baby to protect. If she can't protect her baby, the baby shouldn't be there.
Well Fizz was a mug to believe she'd get any protection, everyone apart from her knew that.
The Governor (where have I seen her before) switching and doing her sympathetic act, just to get info out of her.
They could have made it a little less obvious by spinning more than one cell, they should have spun the whole landing/unit.
The only real protection they could give her is to put her on seg/numbers, which isn't the mother and baby unit.

Fizz going to another prison isn't likely to help long term, word spreads.

Why couldn't Audrey afford to send David on a course?

I don't want any soap miracles with Kylie, particularly as they ruined Becky in the process of bring her into the show.
I like Becky and can't stand Kylie, so they better do some good work with her, as some sort of payback.

Audrey's made for sterner stuff than she showed tonight, sounds like a reason to just bin off Marc's character.
She's quite capable of fronting something like this out.

They want to keep that awful Owen away from Anna, only a matter of time before his mask slips, he can't keep up being nice for long, unless he's kicking kittens and puppies off screen and getting his nastiness quota in that way.
Audrey can afford it - it's just a course like that would be quite costly (considering it had an all expenses paid hotel!), and a salon is hardly Apple or Nintendo. I suppose it's no less surprising than her putting responsibility in David to begin with, though. And yes, she is tough enough to take gossip at her age.

Becky was weakened with her Steve relationship - brought out all the bad bits in her. She's getting better now though since she's away from him - I still hope she ends on a high.

And yep that's kind of why I want to see Owen and Anna together, to see if Owen actually can keep from being his old self for long, once he's got what he wants as it were.

I'm guessing no one knows the difference between transvestites and gay guys.
So not only a sweeping generalisation, but a completely wrong one as well.

Sixty quid electric bill???

I want to know what supplier she's with, I'm switching.
Me too!

Marc - Big lanky bird
LOL! Marcia is a fright though isn't she? Or should it be he? What's the appropriate term?

I thought Mary was Norrisexual
I know! I got a bit of a fright when she was coming on to the Doc?! She's cheating on Norris!

Everybody hates a grass, so you grass again. Great line of thinking Fiz. Really inspired.
This one I can sort of understand though when her baby is being threatened. She really is in a no win situation now but she brought it all on herself. Should have kept her nose out and her head down.

We're supposed to be siding with Chesney here, but I just can't. Owen is totally right.
But could he not have brought it up before the scan? Broke it gently to her that it's IS possible the baby could have the same as her sister so to be prepared etc (as he didn't know you couldn't detect it on a scan then.) They were all happy and relieved and he dropped a bomb in the room! He was right, but it was the way he went about it that was wrong IMO.

Bloody hell fire!?!!!?!

Love them playing "Girls On Film" in the background
LOL! I just love the subtle Corrie humour.

They all acted as if he was someone who had come back from the dead - "it can't be...", "is it really...?"
I thought those scenes were brilliant! I have no idea how I'd react if someone I knew walked in dressed as a woman (and it wasn't for a joke) - probably just like the ladies in the Rovers (apart from Mary, couldn't ever imagine acting like Mary!!!!)

That was brill, Corrie plays a blinder.
I'm grinning like an idiot now.

Audrey not wanting to put Mark 'through it', put herself through it more like, surprised he didn't copp on to that fact.
Then again, look at Hayley's reception, nobody apart from Tracey mentions Harold these days.
Oh Corrie is a little PC bubble in nasty world isn't it?!

Marcia, Gail and audreh all look alike
It's true! I wonder if that was done deliberately? I loved it when the ladies in the pub were wondering if he was after Audrey or her wardrobe - that is JUST the kind of thing that would be said and I'm glad that Corrie didn't shy away from it.

How stupid is Marc - as if if you'd reveal yourself as a tranny in a back street Salford pub..... He'd be in A & E in 5 mins....
I'll have to take your word on that mrb but I quite believe it.

Love this little pub chat.
There's been some cracking little chats tonight hasn't there? Corrie is so brilliant at it.

I'm guessing no one knows the difference between transvestites and gay guys.
Well, it's just like years ago when if some people found out that someone was gay they'd hide their kids as if they were kiddie fiddlers! Some of those attitudes haven't gone away yet.

There's loads of really decent conversational scenes tonight. Even if some of them have been questionable, they're still great to watch. I'm really enjoying tonight's double.
Totally agree.

Part of their character progression?
At least they're not having her have some kind of epithany and suddenly changing into a nice person through some sort of Corrie osmosis.

She's a nasty cow, perfect fit for David who's also got a skewed sense of values, everything is someone else's fault.
The idea that she only got her job at the Salon because she's married to David, led her to think she had a 'right' to a job there for life and couldn't be binned off.
Audrey has binned off David in her time IIRC.

Have we had a believable reason why she sold Max, twice apart from greed?
Why has everyone seem to have bought the Steve and Becky bullied me into it story?

Oh Mary's getting some good lines tonight, she's airing all the questions that nobody else is willing to air.
I agree with all of that. It wouldn't have been real to me if they'd had Kylie being all sweetness and light since her chat with Gail (and apparently she's frightened of messing up with Max and that's why she gave him away i.e. sold him - that's what she told Gail anyway). To me, her being almost nice one minute, looking upset the next and being an outright bitch the rest of the time makes the character interesting. I never quite know where I am with her.

And totally agree re Mary.

I was sad to see Eddie go.....but I have to say, I love Anna and Owen together!
Me too. I'm just a bit concerned because he's her landlord and if it goes wrong for them he might get funny about the house.

Audrey and Gail are always comforting each other after breakups with men
I know, I love their relationship, they're more like sisters at times than mum and daughter.

Has Marc/Marcia left??

Why is Fizz being a wuss?

Fiz used to be A tough girl when she came in to the show.

My advice to Fiz?

Batter Ruth!
Agreed. Why have they turned what used to be the rough and ready Fiz into a softy? You (and Prince Monalulu) are spot on when you talk about her bullying past, her care home past etc. This isn't a little girl from the suburbs who's led a charmed life and finds herself in these circumstances. This is Fiz who's had a hard life and with a mother like hers she should be able to handle herself. It's just not realistic that she'd be SO overwhelmed by it all.

But if MY baby had been threatened like that I'd have been straight back on the phone to Hayley to ask her come and get her back, no matter how heartbreaking it would be.

Fizz's and Chesney's rough past has gone the same way as her relationship with Roy and Hayley.
If you'd come to the show in the last year it would be a complete mystery as to why Roy and Hayley would have been asked to, and accepted to look after Hope.

Things really haven't gone too well with Roy and Hayley's 'daughters', that said they both seem to know they can always go 'home' which is nice.

Fizz would be better off taking the phone receiver and battering short haired women into a bloody mess with it.

The actor who plays Marc (Andrew Hall) is creepy as a woman, and creepier as a man! No wonder they are getting rid of him.

He said "I'm show showwy" four times in about ten minutes last night. That was actually creeping me out.

How exactly was Fiz supposed to have killed Charlotte, she was in Labour at the time John Killed her.

The Doctor and Tina must have a different definition of Subtle to me, they claimed they were going to be subtle with their relationship towards Tommy them immediatel rubbed it in his face by going out somewhere special on a date with Tina all dressed up and everything.

BIB: Very good point!

And yes, I thought it was a strange kind of subtlety! However, I don't blame Tina one iota.

Aboslutely- she also has an alibi for Joy's death as I'm pretty sure she was visiting Hope in the hospital

Colin died of natural causes so am not sure why she's being charged with any murder

The Police won't know the time of death though, it'll only be estimates, the window could be days or weeks.

Charlotte, probably had a fractured skull, Colin and Joy could be anyone's guess, soft tissue damage/heart problems weren't they?

Shameless - she played the partner of Monica, Frank's estranged wife.

They have charged her with all the murders because, Home Office statistics then allows them to count the crimes as detected.

The problem is that they have very little evidence.

I was waiting for someone to say to Stella: "You and Marcia could be twins!"

Dr Fit and Tommy would make a nice couple

And I wish Hot Copper Redfern had shown up at the prison to charge dreary Fiz!

It's Manchester, not Chipping Norton. There's trannies all over it like a rash. Give it a rest Gail.
I live very near Chipping Norton, it's a lovely place!

Thought the aftermath scene in the Rovers was absolutely hilarious - stroke of genius having Mary in there too!

I felt really, really sorry for Audreh tonight. I do think she is in a tough situation and that she was probably thinking she was far more accepting of it than she actually realized, but to be humiliated like that.. and for her to be drumming it into him the entire time, that she didn't want it revealed..that final scene with ehr and Gail where she was upset about being made a fool of, thought Sue Nicholls was fantastic, tonight, as ever. Also glad Audrey gave Kylie a bit of what for!

Really like Anna and Owen's chemistry, they would make a brilliant couple i think, with a sort of extended family - izzy, katy, faye, chesney, gary - who conveniently are mates - would be great! And Katy really is stunning, i was suprised at how much she was showing, but then again i guess she's 5 months pregnant now or something! Time flies!
