23k is decent sales! Like someone pointed out example sold that in first mid weeks last week and ended up selling over 75k by sunday

Erm on the 'What songs do you skip on echo note' I only skip 'Brave' find it boring tbh.

I kinda wish Can't Breathe off Echo was a single.

I tend to skip over the melismatic R&B stuff - it's different strokes for different folks.

On that sentiment, one person's killer is another's filler so no album will ever please everybody, but the more tracks we have the more likely we will get a threshold of personal killer tracks. I like Collide but it's not a "killer" track imo, so I'm one down already and need at least an 11-track album.

I don't see how anyone would "want" to do 10 tracks unless it was a smokescreen for label costcutting for whatever reason. What is perhaps more worrying may be the lack of confidence by the label(s) in the album actually selling, hence an apparent need to cut the upfront fees. I hope they're wrong.

Unfortuantely Christina Perri is just about to take over Leona on Irish iTunes, but she's been at #2 for a whole two full days, so she should still be looking at top 3 over there!

Can't Breathe is one of my fave Leona songs ever, but I don't think it would have worked as a single. It's not very radio-friendly and I don't think it would stand out at all on the radio.

I really think Can't Breathe would have done really well as a single.

Just been looking at Duffy's two albums and they were both 10 tracks, Rockferry all the songs are great though, so Hope all Leona's 10 are amazing. With her going in a new direction though my main worry is if I don't like some tracks it will make the album even shorter for me.

On Echo I tend to skip, I Got You, Outta My Head, Love Letter, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Alive and Lost Then Found.
Spirit I skip. Angel, Here I Am, I'm You, Best You Never Had, A Moment Like This.
You Bring Me Down should have been on Spirit it is a lot better than a lot of the tracks that made it.

Let It Rain should have been on Echo. Its really good

But never an Echo track. It's one of very few albums I can listen to in it's entirety and enjoy every track.

Well not fave Leona song but a song i really loved from Spirit and thought a shame it never got released was Take A Bow.

Same. I can quite easily listen to the entirety of Echo from start to finish (and have done many times in the past) without skipping one track. Obviously there are certain tracks I go back to more than others but overall there isn't one bad song on there for me.

SO where is she todays midweek.

I read that pixie was at number 1 with nearly 40 k!! and leona at 4 with 8k!! that cannot be right....can it??!

Pixie's performance on Lorraine has her extending her lead on everyone again. The Sats are dropping quite fast.

I like the genre of Spirit, but the production quality of Echo. Neither album has quite reached perfection for me, and there are songs on both that I would skip depending on my mood (Angel, I Will Be, BYNH, and Moment Like This - Spirit, Broken, naked, SCYHO, & Alive - Echo).

Who knows, maybe I'll strike lucky with Glass Heart?

Fave songs-wise, out of those that tend to be forgotten about, I'd have to say Take A Bow, Misses Glass, My Hands & Can't Breathe <3

I imagine Olly Murs may be Leona's main competition that week as they are also releasing new albums the same week.

I'll tell you what is Leona's best and most underrated song, Yesterday! I'm appalled that she has never sung it live. I wonder if she doesn't like the song. But how can she not?
