Hey, a new thread! Just trying to catch up from all yesterday's stuff, was out all day. I didn't think last night's prog was such a bad edit for them, and Lucien's perspicacity! - I wouldn't have expected that from him. And just braved the BB forum - surprised really, it's not THAT bad. Just the few usual "dislikers" (as we have to say!) I notice a lot of "neutrals" have come out and said they're enjoying the twins on the show. And some have said they don't, as you would expect.

I think out in the "real world", where viewers just switch on and watch the show, don't go on to what are (to be honest) relatively obscure internet forums to analyse every little thing that goes on, don't particularly want to discuss the show with all and sundry, aren't interested in making moral judgements about the hm's, I think that these people, who are in the vast majority, are just watching in order to be entertained and a lot of these are finding the twins entertaining.

One thing did strike me about the shopping list, are they spending money on buying cigarettes and alcohol? In which case shouldn't the people who don't want these have a bit extra to spend on things they want?

And I can see Toastgate coming soon......

yeah I thought that about the shopping list, saying they don't drink or smoke and all the rewards for everything are parties, booze and smokes. All they wanted was some honey and dried mango and "water bombs". A £10 anything just cos you want it budget (to share) didn't seem like a lot to ask for, what is that two bottle of wine or two packs of cigarettes?

Anyway if toast gate kicks off, other people still managed to have toast this morning for breakfast, so "all the bread in the house" was a slight twitter exaggeration. Plus the tower was actually awesome! burnt in letters, heart and start shapes, some sort of mortar, and
Edward's little distressed I broke my bread tower skit was hilarious. It must have taken them ages! and for all we know that was stale bread from last week no one was going to eat anyway!

I just went onto BBlive twitter, so read tweets in descending order - when it came to pics, a novel way to use clingfilm, and the toast tower.....i just knew before opening the picture link who would be featured ...................they are dying of boredom, poor things.

As people have mentioned before, so much good material of the twins wasted on the editing floor. The only people really enjoying this are the CH5 production team...................so unfair !

I know, we need to hear more of these, he is very witty & sharp, love those.

Nominations in half an hour! Worried for the twins

I thought nominations are on Monday? Anyway, I doubt any of the girls would nominate them, since they seem to hate Pamela and Bobby. pamela clearly dislikes others too.

As for the men, Bobby and Lucien won't nominate them (they hate too many of the others)

The only possibilty is Darryn and Paddy, Darryn isn't their biggest fan, but luckily, he'll probably pick Bobby for the sweat thing, and Pamela who he can't stand.

I don't think Paddy dislikes anyone, so maybe he might pick the twins?

I reckon they may just get one nomination. Pamela, Bobby and Darryn will get the most I think.

BB can move the nominations to any day they like apparently or even cancel them. Interesting to see who goes up : I imagine Pamela will receive most nominations.

I'm really surprised about some of the new "revelations" we see in the little video snippets. Suddenly they dislike Pamela and now they think Tara is responsible for some of the tension in the house as well? She seems pretty laid back to me.

I guess because the eviction is on Wednesday they want more time for people to vote.
Paddy and Lucien are definites imo - they do seem to like the boys, but I've seen them spend more time with others, other than Bobby for Paddy and Pamela for Lucien. I do think they'll be their 2nd choices though.
Kerry, Darryn and Amy are possibilities - I wouldn't have said Amy, but her and Bobby seem to have sorted their differences seeing as they worked together on yesterday's task, so maybe she'll choose them instead of him with Pamela. Darryn moved down from 'definites' considering the sweat thing and his problem with Pamela, but maybe he's sorted things with Bobby.
Bobby and Tara are very unlikely to choose them, and I just have no idea what's going on in Pamela's head to make a prediction. I doubt it though.

Lucien? Not sure. I don't know what he's thinking tbh. I wouldn't be surprised to see noms from any or all of Darryn, Paddy or Kerry though. Although, in Darryn's case, I think there are those he dislikes more --(Pamela and Bobby)

I think Pamela and Bobby will get the most noms though, if the twins do happen to be up against these they should be okay.

Lucien doesn't seem to know his own opinion on things, he does seem to basically agree with who ever he is talking to at the time. but he's quite young and there are a few domineering personalities in there.

I get why Pamela is annoying now, long boring stories about her life that she gets confused in the middle of, forgets what she's talking about but insists on continuing talking anyway.

I think Pamela is very lonely in the house. Apparently her way of bonding is a little odd, but I feel sorry for her, because she must know what the other housemates think about her and living in a house with people who want you out must be hard.

As for Lucien I think he desperately wants to be liked by everyone and is scared of confrontation.

I think I'm going to avoid any threads related to that task. I'll end up killing someone! That task isn't very nice though. Why don't they dress Lucien like a sheep for acting like one?

You get the Jedward you expect, treat them like kids that's what you'll get. So clearly that's what big brother want from them. Annoying cos it's not what I want for them.

they'll make it funny, they were awesome at it in panto. Just be more interesting to get everyone else to behave like kids and make John and Edward play at being "responsible adults'

This task/punishment/whatever is just... ugh. I don't like it, and I wouldn't whoever it was. The acting in itself is fine, but nappies for God's sake?

That said, the twins will come out of it as well as they possibly can by playing along. At least they're not taking themselves too seriously.

I know that it won't hurt them really, but I really hope it doesn't. Being humiliated is one thing, but being humiliated on TV is another.

Have there been punishments like this in the past? I find it really weird and disturbing.
Then again Paddy had to be dressed as a dog and do all kinds of strange things for two days and that must've been quite humiliating for him as well.

Funny how BB defines childish behaviour - because most of the HM have behaved in this way at some point; yet only John & Edward are pulled up on it.

Why does BB not set them a creative task involving the other HM? It would keep them from being bored witless, and let others see their amazing creative side, instead of handing out , both times, fairlly childish ones.

I'm sure they'll be fine. If they were some serious politicians or something, we'd have more to worry about.
Doesn't seem fair though, 'punishing' them for being the only ones to do anything. They're lucky the twins are so easy-going - this might have pushed another HM too far and made them walk, such as Tara who's already concerned about what it'll do for her career. They should treat them better to be honest, they are this year's show.

I hope that they won't be! If I was being punished for being childish, I would find that way worse then being bored.

Paddy must have been mortified! His title has gone down the drain! I suppose the only difference was that others were dressing up too, and he wasn't the only one who was made out to look like a fool.
