He was lovely about the twins in the end - the 'drowning' stuff came across as more jokey and good-natured than it did in other interviews, and he seems to genuinely appreciate their good qualities.

It was a good interview, in general. I'm really glad Tubridy just let him talk - Paddy really comes across best when he gets a chance to be reflective. It was very moving hearing him talk about his son who died in the crash.”

I can see why he won silverhand. He does seem to be a genuine guy who has had something of a hard life, but a colourful one as well. Much sooner him winning than La Katona

Good to see Paddy talking so nicely about the boys, even when he was saying how much he wanted to drown them His hair though .. I don't think that dying it pure black did him any favours!
Love Tara tweeting about them constantly And she's going to be in their music video, how good is that?! We love you Tara Reid

Tara Reid is lovely! And they know with her, that she's genuine - she has nothing to gain from promoting a friendship with the twins. I hope they have a good producer for the new video and it's maybe a bit more "grown-up" than the last one if you know what I mean.

If I remember correctly, John mentioned something about the new video potentially being quite "slick" in that Radio One interview, so it sounds like they want it to be more sophisticated than their previous ones.

That photo at the airport is amazing! And someone on twitter said there were twice that number of people there earlier too, but the twins arrived so late at night that many had had to go home. I hope they get a chance to spend more time in Sweden in the future. They've only made a few very brief visits so far.

I knew the twins were popular in Sweden but, when you see pics like that, you realise just how popular they are! It looks amazing. I wish I was there!

Flamin' hell! It looks like the boys are huge in Sweden! They should arrange a proper Swedish tour as soon as possible

WOW! Isn't that picture Liam posted amaZing ! So lovely for John & Edward to see all their support, and lets face it, I bet there are plenty more Swedish fans that couldn't travel to Stockholm to see them.

Thanks Eurostar for the RTE - LLS link

If you go by percentage of the population, I think Sweden is the place where the twins are the most popular of all.....they're big in Germany too but that's a massive country of 80m people.

You mean that's not even anything to do with their concert? Incredible.....those crowds are on a par with what they would be getting for an outdoor appearance in Dublin.

Even Swedish people on my twitter are like "Oh My God, never seen anything like this in my life"

I remember when they appeared on Sommarkrysset in July (the Saturday night thing beside the funfair) the host of the show said their reception was like Beatlemania

I can't get over the size of that crowd, turning up just for a signing and 3 songs! I think that's bigger even than any signing they 've done in Dublin!

kinda makes the madness at Dundrum look understated!
So for an international act only a few people had heard of at the beginning of May they're now kinda huge in Sweden!

It doesn't totally surprise me though : they have a typical Scandinavian pop sound and even look Swedish with the blond hair

I've just realised this is their first proper concert as the headline act outside of the Ireland and the UK! And they've got more in Germany to go! I wonder how many X factor acts have done that let alone ones that finished 6th!

I might burst with pride!

Those photos from Sweden......just amazing. Sounds as thought there were a lot of disappointed fans though, they definitely need to arrange a proper tour there.

I don't know which XF acts have headlined concerts outside Ireland and the UK. Not many that's for sure. Maybe we should post in the MF about their european success?
River_Tam

maybe we could ask the MF if they know the answer to the question.
