they are the only ones in that house that have a genuine grip on reality.
It's a TV show, everyone is there to have fun and make a TV snow.

Random thing but I just watched a vid called 'John Grimes plays guitar' on YouTube and I have the same guitar as John!

Except I think Johns is smaller than mine, and mine has an English flag, not Irish. But still

I felt a bit bad for Lucien though, saying he was nominating Darryn because he didn't like how he spoke to the twins. Still he didn't go up and Darryn did so it all worked out!”

Yeah, I did feel a bit bad that they nominated Lucien seeing as he basically backstabbed Darryn for their sakes (wasn't expecting him to nominate Darryn at all), but if he's evicted it sounds like Lucien will be spending more time with them anyway. They seem to like Bobby a lot for that reason, so maybe their nominations will completely change if Darryn leaves.
I think the way Pamela is being treated probably reminds them of how they were outcasts at school for being a bit odd, despite being harmless. Even if it is completely justified with Pamela, and I doubt we'll ever really know without LF, because of that I think they're more tolerant of her than the others.

Whenever anyone says otherwise, I want to point out how they stood on the X Factor stage putting on a brave face through the abuse, week after week, but I can't be bothered with the inevitable responses. Considering how some contestants crumble over criticism from the judges, let alone the crowd, I'd say they're extraordinarily emotionally strong.
Also, the way they dealt with the unfair editing and general treatment on the show (Simon Cowell's outrage at a harsh Twitter comment about Danyl whilst encouraging people to boo the twins louder being a prime example) showed great maturity - they never complained once. Simon couldn't even pretend he didn't like them after a few weeks of seeing that.

Actually he wasn't sick, just needed water.

I think this was set up - Jedward are meant to be one housemate. They wouldn't say that only half of Darryn got to see the film

The reason they gave for nominating Lucien was pretty random anyway : stealing their women

The fact that they didn't nominate Pamela is interesting and shows that they are very much their own people.

Actually, I was pretty annoyed that they added this 'extra ticket' as a clear way to let Edward into the film too. I wanted to see him just interact with the others for a while - even in that separation task, they could still talk to each other, just from further away.

They made it sound funny, but I do think their actual reasoning was quite serious. I was happy with that though - we got more insight into how they're actually viewing situations, but kept it light-hearted and impersonal so that if Lucien should ever see it, he won't be offended.

I thought the way they said it they were being tongue-in-cheek but perhaps they do see Lucien as "competition"

I think they genuinely meant their reasons for Lucien too, but kept it jokey.

Poor Edward shouldn't have had to eat more garlic, they are meant to be one housemate.

They are so mentally strong, all that X factor hate seems such a long time ago now.

I don't think they see Lucien as "competition", I think they have realized that Lucien is so desperate to be liked by everyone that he would do anything, including "romancing" every woman in the house.

yeah I think they saw Lucien's struggling to fit in and changing depending on who he is with as kinda desperate.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted here a lot recently.
I loved last nights episode. I found the baby part creepy (not John and Edward, but just the fact that BB made them do that and act like that). Their reasons for nominating kind of made sense Snoring, womanising and acting like their dad.
I can't wait for tonights episode!
Is it just me who thinks that they calmed down after the baby thing?

I found the baby thing a little disturbing, it was just the nappy it looked so strange

Guess they made the most out of an embarrasing situation though.

Bit random but yesterday I checked out the photos of them modelling, I had never really noticed that they were actually handsome guys, I dont find them sexy because they are just too cute to be sexy, but I think their looks are overlooked, its like when people were discussing whether or not John stood a chance with Amy, a lot of people said that Amy was out of his league looks wise, but I think if he styled his hair normally, dressed smart people would not be saying that. (though I dont want him to ever dress normally)

twins in loads of magazines this week.
OK they have done them as cartoon characters it's brilliant!
It's nice to see the media finally getting them and changing their format to fit the twins.

aaahhhh, they're proper celebrities.

And to think two years ago we were stressing and fretting watching the X factor thinking they'd go back to Ireland, go back to school never to be heard from again!

I think they're coming across very well : the last two night's shows have been a good edit for them

Any especially good ones do you know?

I haven't bought the gossip mags since X Factor two years ago - funnily enough

Hi everyone

I've kind of been missing from the threads for the past few days as my dad died at the weekend. I'm totally devastated but I've got to say thank God for the twins as a lovely distraction to what has been a horrible time ... just as they were to me last August when my mam died.

I'm still trying to keep up with the forums but just haven't been in the right frame of mind to post anything lately. But I'm still watching them avidly and think they're doing great.

Jedward FTW! (or at least for the final!)

Thanks everyone.

I'm ok - like I say, the boys are a welcome distraction and always have managed to put a smile on my face during tough times and for that I'll always be grateful for them.

I've been watching the highlights but missing out on the news updates and videos - have John and Edward been getting up to much mischief or have they been good?
