Help me DS forum peoples! After EE tonight... I find myself... Liking Andy. More. Than. Hating Andy.

This has completely messed me up! I mean this is ANDY PANDY fake gangster that I'm talking about! Why do I have this respect/liking for the character all of a sudden?! Argh!

However, staying true to instincts, if it comes down to the crunch (i.e - full throttle gangsta andy V den wars) I *think* I will still be wanting Andy to perish. Not sure though. AKKK!!!!!!!!

I was just saying the same thing in another thread. My reasoning was that there are other people at the top of my hitlist- Dirty Den, Pauline & the Ferrieras. It means Andy seems better in comparisson.

Andeh is now off my hit list (which SHALL prevail) it comprises of:

ALL Ferrairas
Pauline
Derek
Spencer
Juley
Mickey is getting annoying now...
As is Sonia....

Yeah, sounds about right- except, unlike most of the people on this forum I actually quite like Spencer. Mickey too- it remains to be seen whether I shall like his family though. I don't like Sonia, but I don't dislike her- it would be strange without her. Vicky was on it, but she's off now anyway.

Vicki is okay in my opinion. She's got this quality as an actress about her, well I think she's good anyways...

Mickey = Unsure. Sometimes he is okay.

I thought he was very good tonight, I think it was because there was less of him been a gangster and more of a normal person, Talking about when his mum die, how he don't love Sam and about his past which is interesting. The whole fake gangter and big man thing is crap because it not real.

The Andy we see in today episode was much better.

Andy is like mould, he grows on you over time!

I know- the shame. It's his vulnerability- my mum always goes- awww, bless when he's on the screen. I know what people mean about his acting generally, but he was good in the xmas episodes. I don't really think he's been given much material to work with. The Moons have lost a bit recently. It's probably because that great humours gone that the writers used to give them + Nana moons never in it anymore. Now there was real BLESS factor! They are too miserable these days.

I liked Andy in tonights episode, but overall i still don't like him. One episode wont change my opinion of him, but if he were to continue how he was tonight, then i could end up liking him.

Yeah, he was great tonight. NO! He was... bad... great... pandeh... andeh... ARGH! I have such conflicts going on right now!

Micheal is a good actor - its just a shame that they (EE) have not used him to his full potential!

personally - I think the character of Andy, was a bad move, he doesn't come across as the typical nasty Eastend gangster! like Dalton
but from what I've seen tonight - there is definately more to his character, more depth, than what we have been subjected to this last year!

Will they develop it more? who knows!

Lol, right here chocopop.. Ok, after tonight, I did see an improvement. But, nevertheless, not a big enough one for me to want him to remain in the square. As for my hit-list, he never was at the top anyway.. It goes as follows:

Juley, Spencer, Ferreiras, Den, Sharon, Andy.

There you go! The above are the characters I think absolutely NEED axeing. However, as you can see, IMO there are bigger more over-rated fish to fry..

I also am starting to like the Ferreiras. Which I can't believe.

They have changed Andy's character of late, like they always do. I used to hate his guts, but the last couple of weeks, they have made him into the nice guy, look how he stood up for Pat in the Vic and tried to get Den to apologise. And the way he had already arranged the wedding as a surprise for Sam. Yeah, I like him now

I agree with your axing list, except due to my utter confusion over Andy he is off it, Sharon, as you know I find okay, and Den is sometimes like one of my top 10 characters.

Tonight showed that when they strip away all the hardman/gangster mumbo-humbo there is actually a half-interesting character hidden away there. For the first time tonight I actually found myself intereated in what Andy had to say and Michael Higgs put in a good performanced I tthough, to his credit.

It just shows, 10% more effort (character-wise) can go a LONG way...

Choco, as regards who wins in Den Vs Andy; how about they have a sword fight and they both inflict fatal wounds on the other?

I need to be certain on who I want to win. I NEED to be certain. Whenever you have characters that hate each other, I feel I need to root for one or the other, but I cant decide who I want to win! Acckkk!
