Yes. He was Hook in Peter Pan and apparently liked to crack one off during between shows whilst doing his webcam wanking sessions.

How about Sharon's idea? "When I can't decide something, I make a list, for and against, pros and cons, lalalalala?" What are the pros (if there are any) of Den or Andy living?”

OK OK Pros and Cons...

Pros of Den living: .......................
........................
AHA! The possbible option of Dennis being happy because Den suddenly starts to be nice and love his son
The cutest moment of EE could be created; Dennis and Den could hug (Can you imagaine?)
Chrissie could stay on longer if she is with Den
We could have Den teach Dennis to jump over the Vic? It COULD happen
More Dot/Den cute episodes.

Cons of Den living:
More mankey brown jacket and salmon shirtishness
More cringey snogs (UH-OH!)
Bad actor.
Possibility of another Den-in-bed scene with Chrissie (on the hair day) with top half almost completely revealed.
Ummm... other stuff? I cant think of more.

Pros of Andy Living:
Well, he's better looking than Den
More Dennis/Andyness
.....Cant think of more

Cons of Andy living:
Even WORSE actor than Den.
Pandeh gangsta
More hit-man moments
Being mean to Minteh (who we LOVE)

5 pros and 4 cons of Den.

2 pros and 4 cons of Andy.

Thats it then, isn't it? I am now officially backing Den in ze upcoming full throttle gangsta bling wars.

ANDY TO GO! Den for ummm, king? lol

I bet they do "Minty" on Andy ....... hope not, you've gotta have some villains in EE or it will turn into Corrie

The episode was ruined the moment Ian said "Before you there was Grant Mitchell" and we all remembered a time when Eastenders was good fun, with decent acting.

AKKKKKK. Phew! It's not just me! I've started liking Andy too now...

Fridays EE reminded me of what the Andy character was originally like when he came into EE - a bit of a soft hard man, who wasn't like Dalton & the Mitchells. I always thought they should have kept him like that, as it's far more interesting to see a human character than an overdone caricature. The gangster stuff is a real weakness in EE - if they can ditch some of it, I'm sure things would improve.

Plus, Andy & Pat could become the new tycoons of the square. Can you possibly imagine how great it'd be to see Pat doing well for once?

Now THAT would be the ideal scenario.. Provided, it didn't lead to tedious A&E scenes featuring teary relatives etc.

I actually have begun to like Andy over the last few weeks. He works so much better as a softy (which could be turned into a non gangster, but merely a businessmen who is well respected ). Maybe we could see why he is such a bully? But that would be character development in EE ! Anyways it could work...

Yeah, I'd LOVE to see Andy developed. At least now we know SOMETHING about him - that childhood was hard for him, as he watched his mother die alone holding her hand? Awwww... bless him!

I thought that too...how sad! It would explain how he behaves too! Developing him could be the thing EE needs...something character based. Plus Dennis and Andy drunk, talking about Dennis being Andy's best man had me stitches

Michael Higgs can definitely act - He used to be good as Eddie Santini in The Bill, but he's just not a convincing gangster. He's too much of a pretty boy - Gangsters should always be ugly buggers like Phil, or Jack Dalton. I'd like to see them soften the character a bit like they did last week, and give him a bit of depth rather than just being the token EE gangster.

If there is a Den / Andy war, I think its safe to assume Den will win, only because Ive heard that Andy is leaving early next year. But i dont think Den will be involved. I think it'll have something to do with Peggy and Sam, though I dont know what yet. Maybe he'll mince himself in a sausage machine rather than listen to Peggy screeching at him. I know I would.

Michael Higgs = Good actor, bad actor?

Andeh Pandeh = Pandeh, or no Pandeh?

HELP MEEE!

Den vs. Andeh = I want Den to win? Or I want Andeh to win?

I cant believe I cant even decide that. Can someone PLEASE make these decisions for me?! LOL”

Higgs RULES. He is actually a wicked actor and manages to make the best of a terrible part. I mean, gangsters in the East End...come on! He gives it something of a comedy element and plays it as though he doesn't take it too seriously himself. I can respect that.

YEAH PANDEH! Damn right. Every time - that's the beauty of it. It's not meant to seem realistic, the gangster thing. He's just a jumped up playground bully, he needs love not knuckle dusters!

Den vs. Andy: Tough call - though Andy wins through in the end, but he's badly wounded and beaten in the process. Damn, sorry, bad mental image - worried about my sanity as I seem now to be fantasising about Michael Higgs laying beaten, cut and bruised on the floor . Argh! Hello, like, he's 42 and has a kid... HELP!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?

(not sure the quote thing will work)

I agree with that, he had some sort of charisma when he first came in, like he was almost respectable in some ways. Now he's just a nasty bully.

Youve got the slash / in the wrong place. If you put it in the second [quote] it would work (I think).
