Right then, I've got a SG2S and have bought the extended battery. Power wise it works fine, no problems there.

However, when making calls the person on the other end says they hear their voice as an echo. This is on both land lines and moblies. I've tried it myself and it is so.

Does anyone else have this extended battery and suffer the same problem?

Do you have a Custom Rom on it?

You cant, but what it might be is the noise cancellation it has built in. You can turn that off but it cant be turned off for good so you have to do it every phone call. When in a call press the menu button and turn off the noise cancellation.

if that doesn't work it might just be you or the other person is just in a dodgy signal area.

I've had the battery replaced and the problem still persists. I have now contacted 3 and they have agreed to repair/replace the phone. I'm waiting for it to be returned to comment further.

I have an unofficial extended battery and haven't had this problem. Looks to be a different design though - the one you mentioned is built into the back case?

The Samsung Battery Pack is a seperate piece of kit that the phones sits inside.

I think what you have is a replacement battery which is physically bigger so comes with a new back cover.
