Morning all . in the words of Phoebe from Friends 'What is with the negative energy?' heehee! It was nice to hear from John, i think for sure he lurks and obviously reads his timeline, same thing happened after the riots in London after a few people tweeted him saying he should acknowledge it. There must be a reason he is keeping his twitter account. xx

That tweet from John was bittersweet wasn't it. Lovely of him to thank everyone and so great to her from him but its a reminder to me of how far away he is both physically in terms of distance but also emotionally - where has the banter gone John? I feel his tweets now I just what he feels is compulsory rather than giving us any insight into his personality - but maybe that is how it should be, he has removed himself from the limelight now so what right do we have to know about his life.

However, his tweet confirmed some things. He is definitely in Oz. One thing I that has always made me happy since John went back to Oz is the proof that he was only ever in the UK for Josie - it was all for her. I don't know whether he doesn't tweet anymore because he has simply lost interest or because there are other reasons but him staying away proves he was never interested in fans or fame it was all Josie and I think thats lovely.

Really for John twitter is still a link to Josie. Josie gets tweets about her projects, her appearance, places she has been because she is still working and still a focus point in the media. For John people's last memory of him is as Josie's boyfriend so even if he isn't tweeting Josie or following her, the fans are still those who once supported him and Josie together, some still have pictures of Josie and some even tweet about him and Josie together. So the reminder of her is still ever present so maybe that is his reason for staying away.

I still have a tiny hope that one day the ice will break and they will communicate once more but as each day goes by it seems less likely. The distance is so great between them. I really dislike myself for being so absorbed in their story as it feels like the two key characters have dropped out but all the chorus are still rallying round.

But onto a more positive note. Josie looked fab again last night albeit a little sad and disinterested but I think maybe that is because the show just isn't very strong. She thrives on OKTV and as viewer you get the sense of family amongst the presenters which I think Josie loves - that is seriously lacking on BBBOTS I think because the main presenter is so lacking in charisma and warmth. I'm sure when we see her on OKTV she will be happy again.

and John, unless we hear otherwise I will assume is still enjoying life in Oz playing footie and fifa and being his normal self.

It's getting harder to spot than a flying pig!!
He doesn't give much away does he??! He certainly is an enigma is john james parton!
Aah well, its just nice to hear from him & it proves he at least looks at his mentions sometimes!

Ooh, hubby just handed me a full cooked brekky..... That should keep me going when I'm stuck on the m1 which is prob where I'll spend most of my day!!

I am pleased that John tweeted to thank his supporters. It's right and polite that he should but I would have understood if he hadn't as everytime he tweets he loses dozens of followers which seems a little unfair.

There does seem a little bit of a sad vibe today which reflects how Josie appeared on last nights show. Things may look a bit hopeless but remember this is like an epic novel not a short story - many obstacles to be overcome before the happy ending

Sad if it is true but we are only hearing one side of the story, so it is hard to know what really happened.

I think Bristolden only retweeted what someone else had tweeted. It wasn't her tweet.

What century are we living in? This is a time when relationships are to a large extent based on equality, aren't they? It takes two to make and break a relationship as has so often been said in the past about John and Josie. So on that basis it takes two to fight for a relationship too.

I've not seen it, but if this is something she has just written, then why now? As she is close to josie, people may think this is how she feels, which kinda goes against the impression that she is over it.

Unless something has happened that we don't know about??

Reading back about everyone's thoughts about why Josie looked so sad/upset on BBBOTS last night, is it just me or did anyone else think that maybe she had had some contact with John and it had not gone too well? John's tweet sounded a bit a bit flat too. Hope I'm wrong of course

Someone said earlier that the people who were there said Josie was fine. She bounces off other people, doesn't she, so if she isn't get the vibe from her fellow presenters, then that makes it all a bit more difficult for her to be upbeat.

John's tweet was just like any tweet we've had from him recently. To the point of what he wants to say. Everyone used to complain about him being cryptic. Now it sounds like you all want to go back to cryptic

God knows...!! Could be any of the reasons... I personally think it was tiredness and there is a bit of an awkward atmosphere between her and Jamie.. something may have annoyed her before they just went on air.

I doubt it is John... but could quite easily have happened, we'd never find out if it had! As nosey as I am I'd like to think any contact is kept private... positive or negative, I think that the public side of their relationship didn't help with trust side (but no proof of that obviously!!)

ha ha ha... good point! We were pretty indulged before, just hope he's happy!
