Regarding John's tweet. I don't feel flat by it one little bit. In fact it's more than I expected. He is still the same John we grew to love on BB11, but I'm sure he's taking a back seat on twitter for a reason. Peeps keep saying he lurks all the time, reads everything, this is his way of saying 'no I dont' - now of course we have no idea whether this is the case or not. IMO John is doing with his twitter account exactly what both he and Josie should have done right from the very beginning. Just tweeting facts about what they are doing (although John isn't at the mo) and not answering anyones tweets to them. This would stop all the tw*tter wars, stop all the hate accounts as they would realise there was no point as no reaction would be forthcoming. For whatever reason, Josie stayed off tw*tter for the duration of Johns birthday - if you like, she gave John the floor to use tw*tter etc how he liked - I applaud her for that. John is his own man, John does everything in John's own style, but at the end of the day John is still that special British/Australian man we all grew to love in BB11. Whatever the future brings, we have to remember they have their own private lives which should remain private. Their relationship was theirs to make or to break, not ours. Does Johns tweet dampen my resolve - no. I knew John would come onto tw*tter to thank peeps but I knew it would be in John's own time, not his fans. I think the one thing all this does tell me is that with 167,639 followers, John wasn't in England for the fame or attention, John was in England for one thing, one person - Josie Jo. He has 167,639 followers eager to hear from him - says it all really.

Regarding Josie Jo, I am so pleased for her. It's her chance to shine this week and I look forward to 6.25pm each day.

Happy Bank Holiday everyone, hope you are all well!

I was thinking about John a lot yesterday on his birthday, and how things were so different this time last year. They should have been celebrating his birthday together & their anniversary I still feel so sad sometimes when I let myself think about it. However, I know that love isnt easy & things dont work out sometimes....I hope for one day they can atleast win back their friendship as I think thats what upsets me most that they lost such a special bond.

Also can I just say I am so happy for Josie getting a big job on OKTV, shes doing so so well. I didnt watch BBBOTS last night but will catch up tonight, I read a few posts saying she looked a bit down? Maybe she was just aware it was John's birthday & wished she could speak to him but its not that easy. Or maybe she was just having a bit of a bad day. Who knows whats really going on.....I just love how people are still on here even now. I cant come on as much these days, mainly because of my hectic life but also because I do find it hard to come on here at times knowing they arent together but I do find comfort also when I occassionally visit. Anyway, will stop rambling on, lol. Hope those who went to the London meetup had a fab time too!

Computer's being very sluggish at the moment, so I might suddenly disappear like last night.

Thanks for all the comments regarding the meet on Saturday, especially the reports from those who came. There's still a few more donations to come in so when I get them all I'll give a final proper total then.

I would feel sad if John was ever made to feel obligated to Tweet but I do think on this occasion his thanks was heartfelt and was always going to be made at some point.

In regard to John and Josie having the chance to meet again and sort their differences, I think it will happen...just not as soon as people are hoping. Their relationship started in an usual setting, their split was spurred by unsual surroundings so I'd put money on them meeting again to come out of another unique set of circumstances. We're just going to have to wait for it to play out.

As Bristolden's account is on private I wonder if her retweeting it was just so Josie got to see it or just for the benefit of her followers to retain the bad feeling? Many of her followers aren't exactly John's biggest fans to start with so would lap up that kind of Tweet. Who's the one playing games now?
