It seems that way, but Channel 4 aired the premieres of The Jungle Book and The Lion King in the past year, Tangled premiered on ITV, but Channel 4 aired it afterward.

As for WB, they seem to be on ITV but for some reason ITV took way too long to air The Dark Knight and there's no sign of Man of Steel and Dark Knight Rises. That being said they've also lost rights to the Harry Potter films, I don't think ITV have WB rights at present, I think Sky hold them.

Thanks. It does seem rather confused. I always assumed terrestrial could share the rights with sky since Disney films appear on both.

X- Men i think have been on 4 which implies Fox is with them. Or could it just be the TV companies are picking up movies on an ad-hoc basis and Frozen or Avengers or even Bond could appear on either?

Disney is a bit ad hoc especially with their back catalogue, Channel 5 have some of their films then ITV then Channel 4. The BBC have first run rights to newer films.

Channel 4 has Fox and Paramount with some Universal titles and Studiocanal. Channel 5 has Lionsgate, eOne and MGM titles that isn't Bond or The Hobbit.

Cheers. I wonder if these rights actually cost much because you would think itv would want to gobble up these films. Especially the Disney ones.

Rumour going around that DS may shut down, I hope to keep in touch with some of you here if it does, my Twitter is Corabal

On the note of premieres, will try to cover the Xmas ones, I've basically been distracted from the entire internet now, starting from early Thurs afternoon, as I have just got my hands on Pokemon Sun

I'd happily start something up on my forums which don't really get used at present as I was getting inundated with spam sign-ups, and rather than ditch the forum, until I figure out whether it's worth keeping, I've currently made it almost impossible to sign up by setting the sign-up question to (I think this is what I put) asking what my middle name is. It's put off the spammers, anyway. Wish I knew a way to get round that.

http://forum.dvd-fever.co.uk/index.php

According to the DS Downsized thread, forums get over 7m hits per month. Not sure I could recreate the whole thing

That was on BBC One back in August - Bank Holiday Monday (29/08/16).

It's Captain America: The Winter Soldier that should be up next.
