How many times have we mentioned "The Dark Knight" in the last year? When will ITV put us out of our misery!

Maybe they are holding off to screen it later in the year!

Over Her Dead Body has done a Zack and Miri and disappeared in the final schedules. The Fifth Element is on for the 5,000th time instead.

Have not read the entire thread so my comment might not count but JESSE STONE: INNOCENTS LOST (2011) The film first aired on the CBS television on May 9, 2010 rather than a cinema distribution. that said I have enjoyed the other4 they have shown

Yes you're right - the Jesse Stone series of features have all been made for tv, with no cinema release. The list I post in this thread will feature ALL film premieres on terrestrial tv (i.e. Freeview/digital) irrespective of whether they were made for tv or made for cinema.

BTW Tom Selleck IMO is great as the lead character - I've seen them all so far (Death In Paradise/Night Passage/Sea Change/Stone Cold/Thin Ice/No Remorse).

Next Saturday (8th) Channel 5 will screen Benefit Of The Doubt, the latest in the series.......

With the exception of Scott Pilgrim, that's a lot of films that'll be ruined when shown in 16:9, since ITV have been even worse than Channel 5 at getting 2.35:1 prints for new films.

Gran Torino's a Warner film, so is likely to be OAR...

Thanks. Eastwood shot it in anamorphic Panavision and it looks fantastic (as well as being a wonderful film) so to compromise it would be a travesty.

Shame Universal never learn with their prints. How can ITV HD be proud at their cropped prints?

If ITV had pride do you really think ITV2 would exist?

Hehe, good point. Keith Lemon should never have had to have existed.
