Paranormal Activity should air this year as it premiered in 2009, probably be on Channel 4 nearer Halloween.
It would be great to see all channels making more effort around Halloween this year by scheduling more horror titles. They haven't really bothered in recent years, with BBC Two the only exception last year.

Paranormal Activity is distributed by Icon, so it will most likely be BBC One, Two or Three. It's sequels were all distributed by Paramount.

I thought Valkyrie was MGM but it could well be Fox that has the TV rights to it.
You are correct, it's an MGM.

MGM's Home Entertainment releases are distributed by 20th Century Fox. The last MGM film to premiere was Hot Tub Time Machine on Channel 4 (at the time I assumed TCF also had TV rights to the MGM catalog).

Didn't know that, just assumed it was Paramount.

Paranormal Activity was a cheap acquisition for Paramount in the US, and became the most profitable movie ever. I assume at that point they went in and brought international rights and turned it into a cash cow.

You can't escape Paranormal Activity 4 posters (I'm assuming the title isn't given just says "All the activity had lead to this www.paranormal movie.net" with a Paramount logo and the number 4) near my work...

The Expendables should do very well, I'm guessing Channel 5 has acquired films from Lionsgate and Summit and finally, Rocky Balboa get its premiere! Has Dumbo been on before? Think it'll have a 80-90m slot as it's pretty short.

I'm hoping Channel 5 shows either The Lion King or Tarzan. The Little Mermaid I imagine won't be shown until after its rerelease.

Quick question DVDfever so they have made a boob and its the superior original version not the reharsh which I didn't find that good, just my view that some films work in the original set up but don't quite tick all the boxes when remade.

That seems less a question and more a statement.

Pretty sure it's the 2009 film they'll be showing. DigiGuide makes this mistake all of the time when data is missing. It just assumes certain things based on data already in the system.
